This beautiful boutique hotel is right on the main strip in Greenport with water views, beautiful rooms, thoughtful amenities, fantastic sister hotel with access for guests, and handicap friendly (which we needed). The staff is welcoming, kind, and helpful. We have already booked for this year and recommend to anyone looking for a sweet and special getaway on the North Fork.

Booked 4 rooms for a business trip. Location was fantastic! Super close to North Ferry. Loved the hotel decor and the rooms were really cool. My room has at least 3 stains on the floors that were super visible. For the amount of money you pay per night, it shouldn’t have stains on the carpet. One of the rooms I book, had spiders. Co-worker said he saw 2 big ones hanging from the ceiling, then felt another one in the shower on his leg and there were a few little ones in the bed under the pillow.

We were there for a wedding so we decided to book an extra day and it was well worth it. Location was great, got to see a good part of Greenport, was able to Ferry from practically our own back yard to Shelter Island. Staff was amazing and friendly, room was not over the top but we had a good view of the harbor and very quiet. Breakfast was enjoyable. Will go back again.

From start to finish, this was one of our favorite stays at a hotel. The atmosphere is rustic and cozy and the rooms are huge. We ended up upgrading to a harbor view king balcony and it was sooo worth it!!! The breakfast is included and it would be impossible not to find something you like since there is a wide variety. But what stood out the most, were the staff. Everyone we encountered, had a smile on their face and treated us with such kindness. We cannot wait to go back!!!

We had a mostly pleasant stay at the Harbor Front inn. The staff were top notch, helping us with things to do and securing reservations at local restaurants. However, while the room was nice, it definitely was showing some age. There were spots on the carpet, areas that had worn away, and some of the bedside tables had exposed wood. A refresh is definitely needed, especially if you are paying sky high prices this summer. I would stay again if there was a deal, but I will probably look elsewhere next time.

Very comfortable and well designed room and especially good mattress. We loved the attractive common areas, and the herbal teas and nice place to sit were especially welcome on a very cold night when we didn't want to go straight to our room.

The lobby was warm and welcoming and the staff was very helpful. Exceptionally clean. I was graciously given an upgrade, which gave me a rare view of the Peconic Bay after a snowfall, which looked like a painting.

The Harbor View Inn is a wonderful choice of hotel when staying in Greenport. The staff is so helpful. Due to a combination of illness and inclement weather I needed to change my reservation at the last minute, and when I called the hotel Jessica helped me to make that possible. My room was astonishing; it looked out at the harbor, with a balcony and chairs outside, a soft comfy chair inside, a breakfast table and chairs, a coffee/expresso machine and an excellent selection of snacks for purchase (including sweet candy and healthy & delectable vegan options like popcorn and peanut butter-filled dates) and a large, comfortable bed. There’s a really nice continental breakfast included in the stay, with muffins, cereal, granola, yogurt, fruit, juice, coffee, and dairy/plant-based milk. I highly recommend this hotel and I’m looking forward to my next stay at the Harbor Front Inn.

5 stars across the board! Friendly staff, spacious room with a lovely view, nice (but not over the top) continental breakfast and you can’t beat the location. When we arrived we were told we received an upgrade to a full harbor view room which was wonderful. AND because the elevator was out of order, they waived our parking fee and the resort fee. Even though we were on the first floor and didn’t even need the elevator! Our fridge was not working so they let us store any perishables in their staff fridge, and the next day (we came late at night) sent someone in right away to fix it (turns out it was just unplugged). It was a truly wonderful experience! 10/10 recommend!

Spend a lovely anniversary weekday here. Nice room upgrade. Not the busy season so recently priced. Everything was clean and well kept. Free Continental brestfast was very nice. This was our 3rd time stay here and always loved it. Will definitely stay again. Love Greenpoint.
