The best cozy motel in all of Montauk. From the cheerful greetings from Koda and Leo to the beautiful dinning table out in the grass and firepit. Truly one of the best places we have ever stayed. Cannot wait to return for the pool!

Daunt's was the perfect base for our wedding weekend. We reserved the Koda Suite and had friends reserve rooms throughout the motel - this made for the perfect, fun getting-ready experience! The groomsmen met up to take photos in the courtyard, and everyone loved being able to easily walk all throughout town without needing a car. The rooms were clean, updated, and well-appointed, and the Koda Suite had a wonderful fireplace we put on to relax before the wedding business began. Daunt's even left us a sweet note, champagne, and wine, to congratulate us for our wedding which really was so special.

We love staying at the Albatross and have been here 3 or 4 times at this point. The location is perfect close to the beach and walking distance to great food spots and coffee places. The rooms are always comfortable, the kitchenette is such a great touch, and the remodel they did a few years ago came out so well. The outdoor area has the best vibe and makes it even more special. We always hate leaving. This place is truly our happy place and we can’t wait to come back.

This boutique motel is absolutely charming and thoughtfully designed with great taste. It’s pet-friendly, the rooms are spotless, and the area is peaceful and quiet. The location is ideal and convenient. The staff is incredibly accommodating, helpful, and friendly. Being family-owned makes the experience feel even more warm and welcoming. Highly recommend! (Stayed during winter time and pricing was very reasonnable.)

Loved our winter escape at Daunt’s. Great welcome by Dylan, the rooms are very thoughtfully appointed and spacious. Their bar / restaurant across the street has an incredible cocktail list and everyone is super friendly. Can’t wait to come back in spring / summer and make the most of the pool and proximity to the beach!

Had a truly lovely stay here! Affordable for the area and still has more than you need. The pool was great, the outdoor areas were cute and the workers were wonderful. It's also in a great location. The same people own a restaurant across the street so they gave us gift cards to use there. Overall very much recommend and hope to be back soon.

Had a fantastic stay here over Thanksgiving weekend. Check in was very easy and friendly even though it was late evening, and from the moment I walked into the room I felt calmness. Looks like they’ve recently renovated the place, and they’ve blended the new furniture and fittings with some older more homely furniture nicely. Almost had a 1950s Palm Springs feel to it, especially with the slate floor. The bed was very comfortable indeed and the shower was great. These motels usually have paper thin walls, but heard minimal noise from the neighbors and outside, and I slept well. For the price, I think it’s a great place to stay.

The rooms were recently remodeled and our stay was amazing! The fire pits, swimming pool, and large grill were top notch and made our time there special. The motel also owns and operates the restaurant Bird on the Roof across the street which has excellent food and gourmet dinner selections. The chef is top notch and we highly recommend eating there even if you don't stay at the Albatross.

Daunt's exceeded our expectations! The staff was so friendly and helpful with all or questions. The location is about a 3 min walk to town and the beach. Great spot for a quick weekend trip! Plus their restaurant across the street serves delicious breakfast. The evening cocktails were fun as well.

Love Daunt’s Albatross! The first time we went our daughter was 6 weeks old. It was our first family vacation. It was the best time. Location: close proximity to everything. You are a block away from the beach. It’s very doable. You are by everything. You can walk everywhere. We parked our car the first day and didn’t move it until we were leaving. Hospitality: this is a family owned business. They take care of it. You can see the love and hard work they put into it. It shows. It is very well appreciated. My family would rather stay here. Vibes: it’s great for family and dog lovers. I grew up going to Montauk when it was a fisherman town. It’s completely changed over the year. Despite the changes, Daunts Albatross is such a pleasant and welcoming place.
