I cannot say enough good things about the service we received at the Preston House & Hotel. I have nothing but praise and high commendations for “Danielle” the hotel manager. Even before we traveled, on the phone she took the time to warmly welcome us. The cleanliness of the lobby, rooms, the attentiveness of the staff/team was exemplary. The complimentary breakfast was fresh and simple. This hotel should be rated 5 Star. Thank you so much for awe inspiring management Danielle. And to your team Alberto and Christian.
I would not recommend staying at The Preston House for getting ready on your wedding day or for your wedding night. We chose this hotel because the rooms are beautiful and we were prepared to pay the high price, but our experience was extremely disappointing. The issues we encountered on our wedding day were serious enough that upper management ultimately refunded our stay.
Very large and comfy bedrooms. Moderne décoration. Beds are large and the matress is high quality People at the front desk are the nicest

We stayed at Preston House and Hotel, with the bridal party at both the Preston and Hyatt Place across the street. The Howell House at the Preston was the perfect spot for me and my girls to get ready — it was beautiful and comfortable. Suzanne in sales and Danielle at the front desk were incredibly accommodating and so easy to work with, making the whole experience seamless and enjoyable. Highly recommend!
What a lovely boutique hotel! Front desk staff were very accommodating with getting our rooms ready quickly for an early check in, stored our luggage while we walked around town, helped brought out our luggage, and even quickly assisted with getting a forgotten item mailed back safely! My only complaint is I wish the complimentary breakfast had more food options and better seating options to sit and eat, but this wouldn’t stop me from coming back. I do recommend checking out the lunch/dinner restaurant attached as well, very delicious!
I can't rate the rooms or the location because I didn't get the see them. Visiting there for 4 days during a conference. For personal reasons I had to get there 1 day later. Pre-paid room. Show up, frontdesk couldn't find the reservation. After showing them the confirmation, they were like "no room for you, we gave it away since this was a no show". What about refund? They come back "talk to the booking agent but we don't do refunds in no-shows". What about a room (conference, packed area, no hotels)? "No room for you". Then I ask them, why didn't you just try to call me to see what's going on? Response "we don't do that". Have to say that this is an unacceptable practice. Life happens, for xyz reasons. The room was pre-paid. There was a conference going on. At least have the dignity to check with your guests.
Amazing room, fantastic service. Any request is fulfilled. Amazing team with Alberto leading the way. Couldn’t ask for a better stay. If I visit Long Island again I will stay here just due to the customer service. I have stayed in hiltons, Marriotts, all of the above. I have never had a hotel as accommodating and respectful as this. Alberto is the guy.
I’ve stayed in many hotels—146 nights so far this year—and this one stands out as one of the best! The friendly staff went above and beyond, even accommodating an early breakfast for my departure. The quality, location, and overall experience were exceptional. I’ll definitely stay here again and highly recommend it!
We enjoyed our stay at The Preston hotel. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was ready at check-in. The room was very modern, clean and spacious. However, between the street noise, close proximity to the ice machine and elevator the room was noisy. The room did have a sound machine to help drown out some of the noise. The continental breakfast was nice. We arrived late one evening and asked the front desk if they had bottles of water for the in room Nespresso machine, we were told they did not have bottles of water. If you need water, make sure to ask housekeeping. Overall, a nice stay.
