The perfect place to spend a weekend! Clean and had everything we needed. Right on the water with cute restaurants / coffee shops within walking distance!

we stayed at the drake inn for a quick weekend stay & stayed in unit 12. we absolutely loved the water view from the room and the quiet atmosphere. the suite itself was cozy & enjoyable. the property also offered a pool & bikes for guests to use. we had a great time riding the bikes down the street to a nearby lookout point. the only negative comment is minor upgrades would be appreciated for the price point but otherwise we would definitely come back

The Drake Inn is a real treasure and a very welcome addition to Hampton Bays. From the moment I arrived, I was struck by the peaceful beauty of this waterfront property. Nestled along the canal, it offers a calm, picturesque setting that instantly puts you at ease. The rooms are cozy yet modern—carefully designed with clean lines and a fresh look. The beds are extremely comfortable, with linens and towels that are nothing short of 5-star quality. Everything was spotless, and it’s obvious that great care is taken to maintain the property at the highest standards. One of the best parts? My dog was welcome too! It's not always easy to find upscale accommodations that are pet-friendly, and it meant a great deal to have my pup by my side while enjoying a relaxing getaway. The owners are warm, attentive, and clearly passionate about what they’ve created. Their hospitality made the experience even more memorable. The Drake Inn combines charm, comfort, and luxury perfectly—and offers something truly special to Hampton Bays. I’m looking forward to returning.

My boyfriend and I have just returned from a few days here and loved it. We had a studio room which was small but very clean. The room had aircon but it was too noisy to use at night as it's placed right above the bed. There is a ceiling fan as well. The location is amazing, right on the water and a shirt distance from the beach. We don't have a car so the access to the bikes made our stay. I think we'd have got very fed up with walking everywhere and taxi's aren't cheap. I highly recommend The Drake Inn and would happily stay again. It was perfect for what we needed.

My friends and I had the best time staying at The Drake Inn! The place was super clean, cozy, and exactly what we needed for a little Hamptons getaway. What really made it stand out though were the hosts, Simon was amazing and his wife was so sweet — they were so helpful and easy to communicate with. Always quick to respond and genuinely wanted to make sure we had a great stay. They gave us awesome local tips and went out of their way to accommodate a couple of requests we had. It’s rare to find hosts this thoughtful. We would 100% stay here again!

the drake inn is a 10 out of 10! the new owners are amazing and the rooms got a lovely refresh. my boyfriend and i felt taken care of and will definitely be returning to the drake.
