So, with the holidays here, a friend suggested we ferry over to Greenport LI and do some last minute shopping at the local shops. We made reservations at American Beech Hotel for overnight accommodations. This hotel was absolutely beautiful. We stayed in the stand alone 2 bed apartment. The apartment had every detail thoughtfully planned out. From the lighting fixtures to the Italian marble bathroom to the king-size beds in each room, fabulous! At check-in, we were informed a continental breakfast came with our stay and we would receive it at 9am. At 9am exactly our breakfast arrived in a beautiful picnic basket accompanied with piping hot coffee. The entire process from the lovely young women at check in to our checkout the next morning was a wonderful experience. If you are thinking of visiting Greenport, American Beech Hotel is where you want to stay. They also have two restaurants and plenty of outdoor seating areas during warmer months. I can't wait to visit in the summer months.

This review is for the restaurant First- A shout out to our servers Steve and Ryan for their excellent service. And to the chef for the delicious entrees. I enjoyed the Duck Tagliatelle. An amazingly tasty entree in a Calabrian chili brown sauce that had an unexpected and tasty kick. My other half enjoyed the tasty blackened Mahi. Dessert - We had the brownie sundae with bananas and mascarpone. And of course we enjoyed dinner with our precious girl Sweet Sadie. And outdoors, Steve made sure we stayed toasty warm with all the space heaters. An enjoyable night!!

This boutique hotel is beautiful! Every little, thoughtful detail adds to the experience. It's comfy, spacious, whimsical and in the heart of Greenport. The staff is exceptional, every single one of them (shout out to Estephany!).. Can't wait to go back again!!

A big thank you to Ryan and his team at American Beech for helping to host our company retreats. Over the Holidays our team stayed at the hotel and the team raved about the styles of the rooms, spaciousness, cleanliness and attention to detail. We also rented out their private dining room to host our daily meetings which was perfect for the size of our team, and the outdoor space was very comfortable, allowing us to field calls during breaks or simply to relax in a quiet and comfortable setting if we wanted to step away from the main meeting area. The location of the lodging and meeting room allowed for ease of access for everyone, and it is in the heart of Greenport enabling the team to walk around town to grab coffee, visit the bookstore, look at the marina and to socialize with other team members into the evening, allowing for team bonding. American Beech has exceptional cuisine so we were able to cater breakfast, lunch and/or dinner and they were gracious enough to allow us to bring in food from other restaurants too so we had a variety of experiences over the course of our multi-day retreat. We liked our experience over the Holidays so much that we booked it again for our summer retreat in August and it was equally outstanding! Due to the location of American Beech, we were able to set up a host of offsite team building experiences such as an art making class in Greenport to wine tours to visiting beaches to fitness experiences. It was a great way to have team bonding while also having a facility that allowed for meaningful purposeful interaction and engagement in a creative setting. We are an influencer marketing agency so we were looking for inspiration and ideation and American Beech delivered by providing a great backdrop and access to a variety of North Fork experiences. Everything about this hotel was wonderful! I had an amazing stay here. Every little detail was thought through, from the deep soaking tub with bath salts and face/eye masks to the luxurious rain shower. The bed and pillows were incredibly comfortable—and loved the little tchotchkes! The location couldn’t be better, making it easy to enjoy the area and walk the town. The, service was outstanding. The team checked in regularly to make sure everything was perfect without ever feeling intrusive. One of the highlights was the breakfast picnic basket delivered to the room—such a charming and thoughtful touch! This hotel is the perfect balance of comfort, care, and style. I’d happily return and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a stay that feels both special and relaxing.we will be back!

Absolutely loved our stay here! The hotel is quaint, spotless, and full of thoughtful details. Communication was excellent — they kept in touch via text and were always quick to help with anything we needed. Every staff member was incredibly kind and went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. They even surprised us with a little anniversary treat in our room — such a sweet gesture! Breakfast was delivered right to our door at 9 AM every morning, which was such a relaxing touch. Highly recommend this place if you’re looking for a warm, personal, and comfortable stay. We’ll definitely be back!
