This America's Best Value Inn in Port Jefferson Station receives mixed reviews, primarily focusing on cleanliness and the overall condition of the rooms. Recent feedback highlights concerns about dirty rooms, insect infestations, and outdated facilities, while some guests appreciated the friendly staff and convenient location. Overall, it appears to be a budget-oriented option with significant quality inconsistencies.
Don't ever check try and check in early ..they are already overly priced for the shambles they have ..plus if you come early they charge you and extra 20 hour what shame ..
Make this make sense. If you want a sanitary room, you pay more than the rooms destroyed by cigarettes?? Why not have a smoke-free facility so everyone can be safe & clean? All rooms are low quality; i cannot image what the smokey rooms are like. You can hear every car pass on highway as doors don't seal. However, The staff is always friendly and polite. I've never had issues with personnel.
Disrespectful Third-party paid through Priceline, so i knew before going the place was a dive. Desk staff was polite. Sketchy dark corner of an alley was surprisingly quiet. Room was basic with obvious recent improvements not including shower doors which required two hands (from outside shower) to lift in an attempt to slightly move it. Showered with door open. The lampshade looks like it was sold at a Freddy crougar yard sale. Bed was clean & comfy, working minifridge, no microwave. Inet was spotty at best. Then they come and knock once and open the door at 20 minutes before checkout - not acceptable. Priceline showed 11:00 checkout, so i emailed online to suggest they both adjust their issue with priceline AND observe how functional hotels communicate and call the guest first. Not recommended, but for location, the poor often get stuck here.
Just needed a place to stay for the night. I was very tired and this was the closest place I could find near where I was located. The room “127” was absolutely disgusting as there were very apparent stains on the beds and felt very dirty. Of course as I left the guy checking people in and out threw an insult at me just for asking him where to leave the room card. Paid a good amount of money for a room too.
terrible hotel. Stinky room. No hairdryer. Quilts are broken. AC is not cold. Very dirty room
It was in the cut quiet and clean the The young lady that works at night was awesome. She even helped me to investigate on some places. That I can move to where there's less sun being that I'm allergic to the Sun. They have very nice greetings. That compliment people and they even waited on me when I had a little disability. So it's great to have people who can just deal with anybody on any term. Please go to America's best value. They are nice to people. They are courteous and they even wake you up when you have to go somewhere and you wanna rush, so just check out. America's best value is in the cut. It's quiet and you can have time to manifest and pray. And take time out for yourself. Have a blessed day.
While the outside could use an update, the room was recent updated which surprised me. I was looking for an inexpensive place for a "passing through" one night stay and this was it. It's a value inn, not the marquee. Kind, clean, and easily accessible
This place is trash, rooms with cockroaches and dirty sheets, broken disgusting shower curtains, paid over $150 for the night, stayed 3 hours and left. DO NOT recommend anyone going to that place. This is the real fleabag motel. You are better off sleeping in your car
