We stayed at this hotel for our honeymoon and unfortunately, our experience was not what we expected, especially considering the price. We booked 5 nights for around $3,000, from August 30 to September 4, expecting to have a relaxing and enjoyable honeymoon. Unfortunately, the weather was cloudy and rainy for all four days we stayed. We still tried to make the best of it by spending time at the beach or relaxing outside near our room, but we quickly realized that the outdoor areas were not maintained properly for rainy weather. The cushions on the chairs and outdoor furniture are left outside during the rain and are not stored or covered, so they remain completely wet. For all four days, we were unable to use the chairs right outside our room. The beach loungers were also wet, so even when the sun finally came out for a little while, we couldn’t really enjoy the beach or sit outside. The hot tub was nice, and the complimentary rose hour in the afternoon was a nice touch. Breakfast is provided every morning at 9 AM and was good, but after a day or two it becomes repetitive because the selection does not really change. The sauna is available, but you have to pay extra to use it, which was disappointing considering how much we were already paying for the stay. Another thing that was frustrating was the cancellation/refund policy. We originally paid for August 30 through September 4, but because of the weather and the lack of usable outdoor space, we decided to check out early on September 3 at around 10 AM. We understand that policies are policies, but we were disappointed that we were not offered any refund or credit for the night we paid for but did not use. Overall, my wife and I would not recommend staying here for more than one or two nights, especially at this price. If you are booking weeks or months in advance, keep the weather in mind. If you happen to get several rainy days, there really isn’t much to do besides stay inside your room, and unfortunately, the outdoor areas aren’t prepared to be enjoyed after rain. For the price we paid, we expected a much better overall experience and more attention to the outdoor facilities. There are definitely some nice aspects to the hotel, but for a honeymoon and a $3,000 stay, we expected much more.

Loved our two night stay here. Lovely quiet location, staff were excellent, room was perfect and the location is a hidden oasis. Not a scene of any kind, and that’s a good thing in my view. Cute little breakfast basket dropped at the door each morning was a nice touch. Best sleeps we’ve had in a while, thanks to the quiet. Definitely going again. We didn’t use the sauna, hot tub or bikes, but all are available.

My husband and I stayed here for our 10th anniversary after getting married at the Long Island Aquarium 10 years ago, so it felt like the perfect place to celebrate. The stay was quiet, quaint, and cozy — exactly what we were looking for. We loved everything about our visit, especially the complimentary breakfast served in a picnic basket each morning. It made the experience feel even more special and memorable. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a quick getaway,

Our stay at Aqua Beach Hotel was overall very good, and we enjoyed our time there. The hotel had a pleasant atmosphere, friendly staff, and clean, comfortable spaces that made it easy to relax by the water. The main disappointment was breakfast, which was just a plain bagel with cream cheese and felt too basic for what we expected. Using the sauna was a very cool feature and a nice extra, but it turned off too quickly and never got quite hot enough, so it didn’t feel like a full sauna experience.

I had a very nice stay at Aqua Hotel and would definitely recommend it for a little getaway. It was very quiet, peaceful, and exactly what I needed. I went alone for some time to recharge and truly enjoyed the relaxing atmosphere. The staff was very attentive, warm, friendly, and welcoming throughout my stay. They made me feel comfortable and taken care of. I will definitely be returning again in the future.

Absolutely beautiful place for a romantic getaway considering it’s adults only. Room was beautiful although the bathroom is tiny, definitely not large enough to share a shower (not a deal breaker). Bed was super comfortable. Service was excellent and they leave you a continental breakfast in a picnic basket in the morning. Location is quiet and you hear no traffic at all. Absolutely gorgeous views of the bay and such a pretty beach area. I would have given it 5 stars if the heater in the hot tub was working properly but I’m sure that will be fixed. Also didn’t like the $20 charge for sauna use. I will definitely be back, it’s a great place for you and a partner to relax, recharge and connect ?

I was there in mid-April and stayed in oceanfront suite 2 – it was an unforgettable experience. I checked in late, but my keys were waiting for me in an envelope with instructions. The room was spotless, the linens were fresh and clean, and there were plenty of towels without even having to ask. They even had separate beach towels and a fresh, cozy bathrobe. The room had a huge bathtub overlooking the beach, plus a shower. They really thought of everything, from bath bombs for the hot tub to extra towels on the floor by the shower, and even extra tissue boxes (and lighters and fire starters for the fire pit). There were comfy couches in the room and on the porch, and outlets everywhere. The bed was very comfortable, The igloo was still up and beautifully decorated with lots of games. The outdoor hot tub was the perfect temperature, and the fire pit was amazing. The outdoor areas are fantastic, well-kept, and just a pleasure to hang out in. The room had tons of natural sunlight from all the windows, and the ceiling was super high. Everyone working there is so nice and helpful, especially MARY KAY and BRIANNA at the front desk; they were so sweet to give us a complimentary late checkout.

Fabulous relaxing stay. Enjoyed ocean walks and sunsets in the off season. The heated yurt and hot tub were great ways to keep warm. Rooms were spacious with a wet bar breakfast area. Loved the retro vibe. Breakfast came each morning in a picnic basket complete with THE BEST bagels, and more. Wonderful staff, we’ll be back!

My wife booked our stay for Valentine’s Day, and it truly exceeded our expectations. From the moment we arrived, everything felt welcoming and thoughtfully put together. The property was beautiful, clean, and perfect for a relaxing getaway. What really made our stay special, though, was the exceptional service throughout the week. Mary Kate and Mackenzie were both absolutely wonderful — attentive, professional, and genuinely kind. They went above and beyond to make sure everything ran smoothly and that we felt taken care of the entire time. Their warmth and attention to detail did not go unnoticed. We had such a memorable Valentine’s stay and are already looking forward to coming back. Highly recommend!

We have been coming to Aqua about twice a year, and we love it more every time. It truly feels like a home away from home. The rooms and the grounds are absolutely gorgeous, and we get so excited each morning to receive our breakfast in the picnic basket — such a special touch that never gets old. The very best part of Aqua, though, is the staff. Chelsea is incredibly welcoming and makes the entire atmosphere feel so inviting and comfortable from the moment we arrive. She is truly an asset to the hotel, and we appreciate her so much. We can’t wait to come back again.
