As I sit on the veranda overlooking the verdant lush greens of the backyard while hearing the sound of the wind chimes activated by the calm breeze; I’m immersed in gratitude. I’m grateful that Arbor View House is a beautiful place of respite for weary souls who need to unplug. The beautiful linens, comfortable bed, and furniture reminiscent of the gilded age really provide an experience. The breakfast is really a brunch. Before I forget, each morning coffee is available right outside your door. The morning meal is excellent. It’s served on beautiful plates on top of chargers on lovely placemats. Napkins, glassware, and the ambiance of a dressed table don’t fail to impress. It’s all of the little differences that set Arbor View apart. Wilfred keeps the conversation lively at the table and regales the guests with his vast lived experiences. He took us on a wine tour to three of the sixty vineyards in the area. We traveled in a luxury vehicle to sample some wonderful wines and noshed on hummus, pita, and Spanish almonds. The atmosphere at each winery was welcoming and Wilfred knew owners at each location. So, if you need a break from life’s hectic pace to reconnect with nature and quiet calm relaxation book now. You can thank me later.

My wife and I are enjoying a stay here currently. The hospitality, cleanliness, and caliber of the breakfast is five star. The Hosts Wilfred and Veda are great at making you feel welcome and willing to linger at the dining room table. The Rose room was appointed nicely with a comfortable bed, complementary water, and loads of entertainment on the TV. Coffee outside your door was an unexpected touch. We were given hot tea with lemon and honey when signs of a cold appeared. Their knowledge of local eateries and things to do were helpful also. The property is resplendent with beautiful lush plants and flowers that draw you into the beautiful garden. This is a must do for a beach vacation in the wine country of North Fork. We don’t want to leave.

Great Bed and breakfast. This intimate, immaculate, homey B&B is in a perfect location to explore and enjoy Long Island’s beautiful North Fork. Our Hosts Veda and Wilfred were friendly and very attentive to all our needs. Beautiful well-appointed rooms. Incredibly comfy beds. Charming common areas with a lovely piano to play. All modern conveniences in a comfy welcoming setting. In the morning before breakfast, coffee and or tea is left outside your room. Just a few minutes from beautiful Southold, a short distance to many vineyards and just seven miles to Orient State Park. You will be treated to an excellent home cooked breakfast prepared with love by Veda. Each day Wilfred served us a big fresh fruit salad, OJ, salad with homemade dressing, followed by a yummy filling breakfast entre. The first day the entre was the best cheese omelet I ever had and sausage with home fries. The second day the entre was corned beef hash, biscuits, plantains, both days muffins, OJ and very fresh coffee. Veda is very accommodating to dietary concerns. When we were done eating Veda came out and we enjoyed wonderful conversations with both Wilfred and Vida. They are warm, interesting, knowledgeable helpful and welcoming hosts. We will definitely return. Highly recommended

My husband and I stayed at the Arbor View for my Birthday weekend. We had a great time!!! Will and Veda are wonderful. The rooms were beautiful (the bed is like butter). You must have the breakfast while you're there, the food is delicious!! My husband and I are already talking about going back!! I highly recommend the Arbor View. The location is everything!! When you stay, tell Will and Veda, the Jerry's said hi!!!

Arrived early and Veda was still very accommodating. Food was good home cooking and the room was comfy and clean. Good conversation and friendly. Wilfred was great at making sure we were satisfied and Veda made a special hot chocolate just for us. Delish! Kudos to both.

Wilfred and Veda created the most memorable weekend for my boyfriend Marc and I. We have never stayed at a bed and breakfast and had no idea what to expect. I don’t even think the experience we had was “normal” because Wilfred and Veda treated us like family. This is something we have never had the pleasure of experiencing before in our lives. We walked in when we got there and Veda was so excited to inform us that she upgraded us to the Champagne Suite because she saw it was our anniversary. She asked about what food we like for breakfast and told us she was giving us a $150 voucher to a dinner in Greenport. Within the first 5 minutes of our stay we were being treated like kings and queens which is a new feeling. Wilfred and Veda exceeded every expectation we had coming into this weekend get away. We made friends in them and we cannot wait to make going back to their home a tradition for years to come.

This place is just fantastic. Our room was immaculate and spacious. The house and landscape are beautiful. The breakfasts were delicious and plentiful. Coffee was fantastic. The owners Wilfred and Veda are such kind people. We had some really nice conversations during breakfast. They attended to our needs and then some. Really made us feel at home. We will definitely be going back there. I highly recommend Arbor View.

Visited the Arbor View B&B for a weekend wedding in Greenport. We were thrilled to make a last minute reservation close to the wedding venue. Wilfred and Veda were great hosts who provided a delicious breakfast and comfortable rooms. The rooms were clean and well appointed with what we needed. They even accommodated our late arrival after missed flights and general travel issues. If we end up back in the North Fork area again, we will certainly stay at the Arbor View.

Great location between Orient Point & Greenport. Hosts Wilfred & Veda could not be any nicer. Great breakfasts, well-kept rooms, and a nice home away from home experience. Nearby restaurants of all tastes, lovely ports, and many activities, including tours of wine country.
