This is one of our favorite places to celebrate our mom's weekends. It's close to town yet far enough away to feel like we're not near town at all. We'll definitely be back.

We have been coming here same week for 15+ years, the last several staying in Room 14. It’s equipped with a small refrigerator, electric cooktop (no oven), microwave. The room is clean, comfortable with an awesome view of the Atlantic. Best part of this resort is the management company, which has an on site office. Viviana and Barbara are awesome managers, friendly, always accommodating ! Online concierge service is great! Can’t wait to come back!

The Beach Plum is such a hidden gem! It’s a quick drive or walk into town and the beach access is beautiful and quiet. The rooms have everything you need, and the staff are incredible, friendly, and accommodating. We love this place and will keep coming back to it. ??

***EDIT AFTER BUSINESS’ RESPONSE** I think the reply from beach plum and their “apology” proves the lack of empathy. My reservation was moved only after I asked SEVERAL times while holding back tears if there was anything they could do and they finally relented and moved the booking. Never once showing empathy. After this next trip we will be looking elsewhere in Montauk.*** Positives first: the rooms we’ve gotten in the past have always been decent. Nothing special and some are better than others. Simple efficiency apartments that have the basics needed. There’s private terraces with ocean views. The location is great. It’s right across the beach and close to the main strip. Now the bad: I hope you never have a family emergency and need to cancel after the 30 days prior to arrival. You will be met with such a lack of humanity. I called and spoke with Viviana and was treated so coldly. Our booking is next week and i was told they are a business and like most business they have a policy. I’m well aware of businesses and their policies, but you know what else is important to a business? Customer service. We have a parent entering hospice and spending a few days away is not possible. At the end I was told “good luck.” They were able to change my booking to a future date which is the only reason I’m not giving one star. It’s more than just the inflexibility of their policy during this difficult time, but it’s the attitude I received on the phone that was disgraceful. My husband and I have visited for several years and wanted this to be a yearly family trip with the kids. And now for the first time we’re not looking forward to our stay and will be looking elsewhere in montauk for our future visits.

We've been staying at the Beach Plum for 15 years. The proximity to the village is perfect for a walk to dinner or shopping, yet far enough to be quiet at night. The rooms we've stayed in over the years have always been clean and well maintained. The office and housekeeping staff are always friendly and helpful.

Our family has been coming here for many many years - the location is PERFECT - beach right across the street - heated pool - a few minutes walk into town. The rooms are fabulous - all well stocked and well kept - we love staying on the top floor so we can enjoy that gorgeous ocean view. The staff - Viviana in particular - are the best - accomodating, friendly - just exemplary. We plan to continue to go to Beach Plum for many many years to come!! it is a real treasure.

The Beach Plum is a magnificent luxury hotel with beautiful accommodations not to mention the stunning views. We have been staying at Beach plum for over 12 years with our 4 children, and each year is as special as the next. The staff are exceptional, cratering to all details within each unit. They are helpful to all parties, whether you are a family of 6 like us, a bachelorette party or just two love birds getting away for the weekend. The Beach Plum resort is highly recommended.
