I had a very disappointing and upsetting experience at this hotel. I booked my stay through Expedia and had a confirmed reservation, but when I arrived, the receptionist refused to let me check in. Despite having proof of my booking, I was denied service and treated unfairly. The interaction felt discriminatory and unprofessional. What made it worse is that I was still charged and have not received a refund. I attempted to resolve the issue, but there was no effort from the staff to help or fix the situation. Being left without a place to stay after traveling and losing money is unacceptable. I would strongly advise others to be cautious when booking here. My experience was not only frustrating but deeply uncomfortable.

Fully renovated! New rooms. Such beautiful decor, comfortable beds. Enjoyed my stay. Will come back to stay again!

This hotel is beautifully located right where the North Fork and South Fork split and really suitable for all kinds of day trips on Long Island. It’s also just a short walk away from yummy food places in the Riverhead town center (I recommend Goldberg Bagels). Parking is free and the staff is extremely helpful and really kind - it was truly a pleasure. We didn’t check out the pool, but would’ve loved to - it looked really good. The rooms were very spacious and nicely decorated, the infrastructure of the hotel very convenient. There are little barbecue stations, parking in front of all buildings and basics like Tylenol available in the lobby. The price was really good for the value and can’t be beat in the area!! 100% recommend, I will be back! Thank you for the wonderful stay!

The Budget Host Inn in Riverhead at the traffic circle is a reasonably priced hotel. I was pleasantly surprised when I first arrived there as the rooms are spacious, clean and everything worked as expected. There were an ample supply of bath and hand towels and my room had a small refrigerator. I had a nice desk to work on with my laptop while there, and the TV is available for viewing. The bed was very clean and the mattress comfortable. I have stayed here numerous times while on business the last couple of months and have experienced no issues. The managers always say hello to me on a first-name basis and ask if the rooms are acceptable and if there is anything I needed. All in all, it's a pleasant place for a budget-conscious traveler and I would stay here again.

I stay here all the time and never have problems. The rooms are always clean, comfortable, and quiet. Ali is a great guy. He is always there for you if you have questions or issues.

Dated rooms but they were clean air conditioner was messed up, the clock didn't work. There was no microwave. I called to see if they had a pool and they said yes they did but I had to ask to see if it was open they didn't offer up the fact that it was closed. No reason to be deceitful makes you question the integrity of the whole place. Makes you wonder if the sheets are washed or the pillowcases are washed or changed. I wooden return to this location nor can I recommend it.

We arrived prior to check-in time asking if we could check-in early and if there was the possibility of an additional room. The staff gave us a tour of rooms and allowed us to check-in early for the room we had reserved. The rooms are clean and have had updated touches. The bathrooms are clean, and still have the 1950s feel. The pool has a waterfall feature. The breakfast was yogurt, croissants, cereal, coffee and pastries. The location is close to a great bagel shop, theater and park. Would stay here again.

Relatively well-priced spot with a clean and charming "Mom and Pop" feel. Employees were very nice and 24 hour check-in was helpful. Better value than other places I saw in the area. This was Labor Day Weekend when I went. Would highly recommend.

This hotel is very beautiful, the staff is also very nice, and the cleaning lady is also very nice. The place gave both peace and scenery. I had 2 rooms with my family and both the rooms were very clean, when I walked in i smelled the cleaning products which I love the smell of and the rooms are very clean. They have a breakfast room for u to get your coffee if you don't feel like making or buying head over to get your coffee. The pool looks very clean and inviting even though it was closed. They have 3 separate but beautiful family areas equipped with a few grills and picnic tables and clean areas to put down your picnic blanket and hang out with family. The staff was so accommodating when it rained they provided us with an umbrella to get back to our room. I had 2 rooms that were poolside and right next door from one another. And this place is next to everything you can possibly think of food that's walking distance to a beautiful park with otters, muskrats. This place gave us the freedom to let go of driving, or taking Uber. I will definitely be coming back, my family said they would love to come back when the pool is open. I love this place 5 stars all the way around.
