This Hotel is an inexpensive choice for Out East Long Island!!! We have been coming here every summer for about 5 days usually in August! It has nice clean comfortable rooms really nice property and beautiful clean pool with a great and comfortable sitting area! And your minutes from The Hamptons its in a perfect area! Love It!??

It's really, really, this was one of the most horrific hotel experiences I have ever had In my life. The problems were so massive and the lack of customer service.So evident from the moment of check in our choice was to either leave and find another hotel or just deal with it As there was absolutely no attempt by the front desk to fix any issues from the beginning. From the wifi, not working the pool being closed.Rude comments from the man at the front desk who instead of answering our questions told us He "Plead the Fifth..." If room is absolutely atrocious. What we were hoping were permanent. Stains on the floor were eventually clearly noted as just unmopped or wiped down areas on the floor and other surfaces. On the fourth, we were in an area that was quite buggy.Yet last night it seems the few bug bites on my son's back have multiplied.And to add to that, fear was the tick we found in the bathroom upon trying to bathe in the morning. I'm afraid to give it one star because it won't be taken seriously.But there is really absolutely no.Redeeming qualities has it still seems to be acting in the same manner as it did twenty years ago.Despite the changes, they seem to not want to acknowledge. In two thousand ten, this was used by the department of homeland services.As a long term housing alternative, as well as a shelter.Not to mention the fact that accepted cash for hourly rates... It was in the middle of an incredibly dangerous area and riverhead at that time.And now things have changed, and I suppose their attitude has as well.However, what seems to be long term?Tenants has not.And when I inquired, if it was still under subsidized federal status, the man had no idea. The rude nature of the person at the front desk caused me instantly to say, I believe our communication should be only business wise.The next thing out of his mouth was to read my address out loud excited, having apparently personally recognized the area? All extremely strange, and then we were punctuated at the end with a comment that it is a non smoking room. There are no smoking rooms in new york.Anymore as you are not allowed to smoke inside of any public building, I don't believe you're allowed to smoke within fifty feet of its entrance.However, the property is littered with signs that say no smoking.And even threaten fines.If you do so they do not address electronic devices of any kind nor do they tell you you cannot use these electronic devices at all focusing.Solely on a picture of a burning cigarette and a no smoking sign... I just bring this up to reiterate.The fact that they clearly still have a problem with people burning things inside the room in two thousand twenty six? What is it?That's being burned in the room that can't be burned outside when marijuana isn't even illegal? I suppose, in my opinion, you can give rap poop.But it's still just poop and rapping paper... I wouldn't recommend this hotel at all.As we stripped the bed, sleeping only on the one sheet with our own blanket and a flat out expression from the staff that they were not interested in doing anything outside of what they were required to do.While not being watched by the supervisor... And yes, they put new wallpaper up, but they used packing tape!

I checked in yesterday and was originally staying in Room 200, but I experienced some issues with the internet connection. I went back to the front desk to ask about changing rooms, and Hannet (I hope I’m spelling his name correctly) went above and beyond to help me. Not only did he quickly arrange a room transfer, but he also provided me with an additional internet access code in case I experienced any issues again. His professionalism, kindness, and willingness to help made a big difference in my stay. The room is beautiful, clean, and very comfortable. I truly appreciate the excellent customer service and would definitely stay here again. Thank you, Hannet, for making my experience so much better!

The most important aspect of hospitality is to make sure the guest feels heard. I've never experienced any form of hospitality that made me feel less heard than Budget Host Inn East End. Due to a wedding venue changed that made it not feasible for me to stay the first day out of my two day stay. I called the hotel 5 times a day for 7 days straight to convey that I can only come the second day and if it was possible to move the resy back one day so I can take advantage my 2 day stay. Out of close to 50 telephone calls, I managed to talk to someone twice. The first time, they said to call back when the supervisor works 9a-12pm. This was a lie. No one ever picked up the phone during this period. The second time, I ask them to leave a message for the supervisor of the new dates I'd be coming and to call me back. Guess what. No call ever. So I decided to take the hit for the first night and just come the second night. When I arrived after riding for 1 hr and tired after the wedding festivities looking forward to resting. They said i no longer have a reservation there since they canceled it. Even though I left them a message about this. No notice or courtesy call or anything. Any business with a reservation system would give you a courtesy call to see if everything is alright before canceling at bare minimum. Budget host are not this type of caring business. And they said even though I already prepaid, I'd have to pay again on top of this to utilize the second night to sleep there after a tiring motorcycle trip. The counterman was an absolutely heartless being and completely rude. No compassion. I've never felt so insignificant. I was forced to ride my motorycle back completely tired for three more hrs back to NYC bc of their lack of humanity. You think if you pay for a service you should get said service but I would equate this business to pirates, greedy for money and you don't really matter after they take it. No ounce of decency.

I had a very disappointing and upsetting experience at this hotel. I booked my stay through Expedia and had a confirmed reservation, but when I arrived, the receptionist refused to let me check in. Despite having proof of my booking, I was denied service and treated unfairly. The interaction felt discriminatory and unprofessional. What made it worse is that I was still charged and have not received a refund. I attempted to resolve the issue, but there was no effort from the staff to help or fix the situation. Being left without a place to stay after traveling and losing money is unacceptable. I would strongly advise others to be cautious when booking here. My experience was not only frustrating but deeply uncomfortable.

Fully renovated! New rooms. Such beautiful decor, comfortable beds. Enjoyed my stay. Will come back to stay again!

This hotel is beautifully located right where the North Fork and South Fork split and really suitable for all kinds of day trips on Long Island. It’s also just a short walk away from yummy food places in the Riverhead town center (I recommend Goldberg Bagels). Parking is free and the staff is extremely helpful and really kind - it was truly a pleasure. We didn’t check out the pool, but would’ve loved to - it looked really good. The rooms were very spacious and nicely decorated, the infrastructure of the hotel very convenient. There are little barbecue stations, parking in front of all buildings and basics like Tylenol available in the lobby. The price was really good for the value and can’t be beat in the area!! 100% recommend, I will be back! Thank you for the wonderful stay!

The Budget Host Inn in Riverhead at the traffic circle is a reasonably priced hotel. I was pleasantly surprised when I first arrived there as the rooms are spacious, clean and everything worked as expected. There were an ample supply of bath and hand towels and my room had a small refrigerator. I had a nice desk to work on with my laptop while there, and the TV is available for viewing. The bed was very clean and the mattress comfortable. I have stayed here numerous times while on business the last couple of months and have experienced no issues. The managers always say hello to me on a first-name basis and ask if the rooms are acceptable and if there is anything I needed. All in all, it's a pleasant place for a budget-conscious traveler and I would stay here again.

I stay here all the time and never have problems. The rooms are always clean, comfortable, and quiet. Ali is a great guy. He is always there for you if you have questions or issues.

Dated rooms but they were clean air conditioner was messed up, the clock didn't work. There was no microwave. I called to see if they had a pool and they said yes they did but I had to ask to see if it was open they didn't offer up the fact that it was closed. No reason to be deceitful makes you question the integrity of the whole place. Makes you wonder if the sheets are washed or the pillowcases are washed or changed. I wooden return to this location nor can I recommend it.
