The Radisson Hotel Hauppauge consistently receives negative reviews, citing widespread issues including poor cleanliness, malfunctioning amenities, and unresponsive staff. Recurring problems such as lack of hot water, pest infestations, billing errors, and unmaintained facilities significantly detract from the guest experience. Several reviewers express disappointment with the hotel's outdated condition and lack of investment in upkeep.

I can’t believe how bad this place has gotten. I remember it as a real nice hotel. The beautiful lobby would still make you believe that it is. But that’s where the quality ends. As soon as you get into the room areas it goes completely downhill. Everything smells musty. The climate control barely works. Water pressure is a joke. I will admit the bed was comfortable. Television is still connected to old coax and none of the “available channels” worked at all. Three out of the four staff members I interacted with were lazy and rude. And now for the actual bad parts. Lots of super shady people staying in the rooms. First night some girl was literally tweaking in the hallway until someone came and walked her away. There was a pile of broken electronics (tvs and such) smashed up in the parking lot. I was very glad i put the damage waiver on my rental out i would’ve been real worried bout parking it in the lot. Unfortunate to see someplace that used to be real nice become such a dump. Highly recommend choosing someplace else to stay.

This is probably one of the worst hotels I've ever stayed in. I was here for 3 nights and there was no hot water. I asked to switch to a new room and there was no hot water or heat there. I was taken to multiple different rooms to check if any of them had hot water and all of them either did not have hot water or did not have heat or both. Manager tried making excuses but that is just unacceptable given how freezing the temperature has been in New York. There was also a cockroach in my room which the hotel refused to acknowledge! On top of all this they tried to double charge me on my card and then said that their refund machine was broken. I didn't get my money back for well over a week after consistently calling and demanding for it back. BEWARE OF THIS HOTEL AND STAY AT YOUR OWN RISK!

I stayed at the Radisson Inn after booking through Super.com and checked in around 9:00 PM following a long overnight flight from London. From the moment I arrived, the experience fell far below basic hospitality standards. At check-in, the front desk was already aware that the hotel had no heat and no hot water, yet this critical information was not disclosed upfront. Instead, a memo was quietly slid under my door after I had already checked in—an action that felt deliberately evasive rather than transparent. Throughout my stay, there was no heat and no hot water at all. To make matters worse, the water coming from the taps was brown due to ongoing repairs, making it completely unusable. This is not just an inconvenience—it’s a health and safety concern. There were also billing issues at check-in. The front desk agent attempted to charge a $100 incidental fee but initially ran it as $119, then re-ran the charge after the system “timed out,” resulting in a different amount of $107 with tax. This lack of clarity and professionalism only added to the frustration. The next morning, I spoke with Claudia at the front desk, who was empathetic and understanding. Unfortunately, there was no manager or decision-maker on duty to properly address my concerns or offer a resolution. I am now hoping my deposit is returned, as this stay was genuinely distressing. Between the lack of heat, no hot water, discolored water, billing inconsistencies, and failure to disclose known issues, this was a horrific experience. Situations like this warrant oversight, and I strongly believe the local health or state department should be notified. This stay did not meet even the most basic expectations. Transparency, accountability, and guest safety were all missing.

I cannot recommend this establishment. Several people witnessed bar staff serving alcohol to a woman who was caring for her 4?month?old infant. That same individual was later hospitalized due to a domestic incident in which alcohol likely played a contributing role. Although some staff members were courteous, others were combative and unhelpful. I strongly encourage the General Manager to ensure that all employees receive proper training on responsible alcohol service—specifically, recognizing when a patron has already had too much and understanding the heightened responsibility when a customer is accompanied by a minor.

Rented 2 rooms. Unacceptable. Prostitutes hit on my autistic son the next night on my husband. Pool had debris and rocks thrown all in so we passed on using it even though that was one of the reasons we choose the hotel. The day of checkout housekeeping staff kept knocking on both room doors for us to check out. At 1030 when I went to my son's room the housekeeper came in cleaned out the room threw out my business notebook, food and other things. Checkout was at 12. They were rude about it and kept saying I had left but I never checked out. Which Faraz the front person was surprised as well as we had not checked out yet and it was only 1120 when we went to him to file a complaint. Him and the guy who took out the trash were helpful in trying to find it and resolve. But the housekeepers were rude and unapologetic. I sent an email to the supervisor and have not heard back regarding filing a formal complaint. We went with family and a baby I did not see any staff trying to rush the prostitutes out the door yet us by 945 they were banging on the door.

I stayed at the Radisson Hotel to attend a relative’s wedding. I traveled all the way from Canada and stayed at the hotel for two nights. The experience was not very good, as the reception did not provide much information apart from handing over the room keys. I initially expected the Wi-Fi password to be written on the key envelope, as is typically the case, but it was not there. I tried calling the reception, however there was no phone directory in the room, so I had to come down to the reception to obtain this information, which was provided later. Our room was on the 3rd floor and was quite noisy, as we could hear noise from the neighboring room. The night was not comfortable. In the morning, we planned to have breakfast at the hotel, but there was no one available. Eventually, a hotel staff member informed us that it would be better to eat outside. As a result, I had to take my family, including children, out for breakfast.

My parents recently stayed at this Radisson location while visiting me, and the experience was nothing short of unacceptable. The room they were given was extremely run down, but that wasn’t even the worst part. They had no hot water, no heat, and upon inspecting the bed, they discovered a living roach inside it. A dead roach was also found wrapped in their clothing on the floor. This is not only unsanitary, it’s dangerous, and absolutely inexcusable for any hotel, let alone one representing a major brand. When they brought these issues to management, they were met with complete unprofessionalism. No support, no solutions, no compensation, and no sense of responsibility for the conditions they had to endure. The dismissal of these very real health and safety concerns was shocking. For a hotel operating under the Radisson name, this level of negligence is unacceptable. It raises serious questions about the management, the lack of cleanliness standards, and how a property in this condition is still allowed to operate. I am writing this in hopes of preventing anyone else from going through what my parents experienced. Until major improvements and accountability measures are put in place, I strongly recommend staying elsewhere.

Absolutely worst experience Not what you would expect with what you pay at this place. Went to the front desk to complain. Nobody seemed to care no phone Call back from the manager real surprising like he cares. Unfortunately, nobody cares anymore. They just worried about being on their phones and collecting a check Expects me to come back when they couldn't get it right as a first time customer. very noisy all through the night. Various things in the work did not work in the room. No heat and no pool was out of order one of the reasons I chose this hotel in the first place. You would think maybe you'd get a phone call back, and they would say, what can we do to make it right? And then you'd keep a customer, but they just don't seem to care. So I take my business elsewhere and make sure I tell all my customers because I'm in business as well never To stay at the Radisson in hauppauge

Unfortunately, I had to travel to NY and check in on Sept 29th for a funeral on Oct 1st. No housekeeping on Sept 30th and when we arrived back at 10pm, from an emotional day on Oct 1st, we found that our room had not been cleaned again. We had to empty our overflowed trash and deal with damp towels on the floor. I had to go to the front desk and carry a handful of towels , soaps, toilet paper, etc back to my room. The next day on checkout, I spoke to a nice young lady who called herself the "Assistant Manager". She apologized up and down and told me she is in charged of Housekeeping and understands how depressing this must be. Of course she questioned if I had a "Do not disturb" sign on my door. I told her I left at 7:30 am in the morning and took my sign off the door. I did advise her that I saw various video cameras along the hallways and she can verify me taking the sign off and putting it in my room. Again, she apologized and asked what she could do to help. I asked for a deduction from my bill for having no housekeeping and doing some of the work myself. She said will talk to her manager and get back to me. Well, it looks like I'm just another sucker who was useful for a few nights and they just ignored everything. No follow up and no further communication. Of course they will reply that it's so unfortunate that this happened and they will take steps to improve housekeeping. You said you "Had my back". I guess when I backed myself out of the hotel.

Went to a conference and the food they served was horrible. The whole decor looks like it hasn't changed since the 70's. Spackle patches all over the walls painted over in different color than original paint. Probably couldn't match the color of the lead paint from 1970. More weeds than pavement in the parking lot. The whole atmosphere was depressing. It's like something straight out of a post-apocalyptic soviet city that nature reclaimed. Because of the hotel response I am changing my review to 4 ?.
