The Radisson Hotel Hauppauge consistently receives negative feedback regarding cleanliness, maintenance, and service. We got stuck here last minute and had no choice. First, they have a 21 day cancelation policy which for parents dealing with lax tournament schedule changes, stinks. This was disappointing. For what they charge, they should reinvest and do a refresh. Staff also needs to learn to clean more thoroughly. My son carries a flashlight with UV, mad I wish I could unsee this. Staff at the front desk was mediocre, at best, the evening we checked in. Bring your own toiletries bc you get almost none, not even shower gel. They want you to use the same bar of soap you wash your hands with, in the shower. Thank God it was a one and done night. Location is good but that’s honestly all this place had going for it. Not going back. Ever.

The staff were very friendly, the rooms and elevators on the other hand were a huge issue. The shower water was cold and there was black mold. The room smelled like cigarettes and dampness. Only 1 elevator worked and all of housekeeping was using it so we waited 30 minutes to get on and weren't able to. Had to carry my wagon full of luggage down 4 flights of stairs by myself. Unfortunately not somewhere I would stay again.

Booked this for Memorial wknd. This hotel is misleading. The online pictures will have you think it lives up to its 3 star rating. Wrong!! For the price this was substandard by far. The bartender checked us in upon arrival have no clue where the front desk clerk was. They seem woefully understaffed with no uniforms it’s hard to tell who actually works there most dress as if they are one of the guests. Sorry but it gives sketchy vibes because of this. Our tv didn’t work the guy went to find a Roku stick prob snatched it from an unoccupied room. He was so casually dressed if they didn’t tell me someone was coming to look at the tv I would’ve thought it was another guest knocking on my door. There is no safe in the rooms or phones for that matter. Waited almost 15min to properly checkout because no one was at the front desk. When someone did show up it was his function so he just wrote a note. Them charging 200+ per night for this level of service should be criminal. The lobby is the only thing that displayed any level of decent hotel. The rooms are on its way to being run down the tiles in the elevator are buckling looks like from water damage there was no ice machine although with the lack of staffing I’d prob avoid anyway bc I’d questioned how often it’s cleaned. Their location is ideal though close to the outlets and places to eat. They have potential to be better than they are they are on a slippery slope downhill.

All the staff are very friendly, and the rooms are clean and tidy. The bar is not always open when it says it should be, the hotel itself is run down and could do with some money spending on it to make it what it could be. There isnt alot close by to do so you definetly need a car. There is an applebees across the road that does good food and drinks. Your room is made up everyday but they dont always remember to replenish the tea and coffee. There is often a strong smell of weed in the hallways. The beds are very comfortable and large. We haven't eaten at the hotel so cant comment on what the food is like.

I can’t believe how bad this place has gotten. I remember it as a real nice hotel. The beautiful lobby would still make you believe that it is. But that’s where the quality ends. As soon as you get into the room areas it goes completely downhill. Everything smells musty. The climate control barely works. Water pressure is a joke. I will admit the bed was comfortable. Television is still connected to old coax and none of the “available channels” worked at all. Three out of the four staff members I interacted with were lazy and rude. And now for the actual bad parts. Lots of super shady people staying in the rooms. First night some girl was literally tweaking in the hallway until someone came and walked her away. There was a pile of broken electronics (tvs and such) smashed up in the parking lot. I was very glad i put the damage waiver on my rental out i would’ve been real worried bout parking it in the lot. Unfortunate to see someplace that used to be real nice become such a dump. Highly recommend choosing someplace else to stay.

This is probably one of the worst hotels I've ever stayed in. I was here for 3 nights and there was no hot water. I asked to switch to a new room and there was no hot water or heat there. I was taken to multiple different rooms to check if any of them had hot water and all of them either did not have hot water or did not have heat or both. Manager tried making excuses but that is just unacceptable given how freezing the temperature has been in New York. There was also a cockroach in my room which the hotel refused to acknowledge! On top of all this they tried to double charge me on my card and then said that their refund machine was broken. I didn't get my money back for well over a week after consistently calling and demanding for it back. BEWARE OF THIS HOTEL AND STAY AT YOUR OWN RISK!

I stayed at the Radisson Inn after booking through Super.com and checked in around 9:00 PM following a long overnight flight from London. From the moment I arrived, the experience fell far below basic hospitality standards. At check-in, the front desk was already aware that the hotel had no heat and no hot water, yet this critical information was not disclosed upfront. Instead, a memo was quietly slid under my door after I had already checked in—an action that felt deliberately evasive rather than transparent. Throughout my stay, there was no heat and no hot water at all. To make matters worse, the water coming from the taps was brown due to ongoing repairs, making it completely unusable. This is not just an inconvenience—it’s a health and safety concern. There were also billing issues at check-in. The front desk agent attempted to charge a $100 incidental fee but initially ran it as $119, then re-ran the charge after the system “timed out,” resulting in a different amount of $107 with tax. This lack of clarity and professionalism only added to the frustration. The next morning, I spoke with Claudia at the front desk, who was empathetic and understanding. Unfortunately, there was no manager or decision-maker on duty to properly address my concerns or offer a resolution. I am now hoping my deposit is returned, as this stay was genuinely distressing. Between the lack of heat, no hot water, discolored water, billing inconsistencies, and failure to disclose known issues, this was a horrific experience. Situations like this warrant oversight, and I strongly believe the local health or state department should be notified. This stay did not meet even the most basic expectations. Transparency, accountability, and guest safety were all missing.

I cannot recommend this establishment. Several people witnessed bar staff serving alcohol to a woman who was caring for her 4?month?old infant. That same individual was later hospitalized due to a domestic incident in which alcohol likely played a contributing role. Although some staff members were courteous, others were combative and unhelpful. I strongly encourage the General Manager to ensure that all employees receive proper training on responsible alcohol service—specifically, recognizing when a patron has already had too much and understanding the heightened responsibility when a customer is accompanied by a minor.

Rented 2 rooms. Unacceptable. Prostitutes hit on my autistic son the next night on my husband. Pool had debris and rocks thrown all in so we passed on using it even though that was one of the reasons we choose the hotel. The day of checkout housekeeping staff kept knocking on both room doors for us to check out. At 1030 when I went to my son's room the housekeeper came in cleaned out the room threw out my business notebook, food and other things. Checkout was at 12. They were rude about it and kept saying I had left but I never checked out. Which Faraz the front person was surprised as well as we had not checked out yet and it was only 1120 when we went to him to file a complaint. Him and the guy who took out the trash were helpful in trying to find it and resolve. But the housekeepers were rude and unapologetic. I sent an email to the supervisor and have not heard back regarding filing a formal complaint. We went with family and a baby I did not see any staff trying to rush the prostitutes out the door yet us by 945 they were banging on the door.

I stayed at the Radisson Hotel to attend a relative’s wedding. I traveled all the way from Canada and stayed at the hotel for two nights. The experience was not very good, as the reception did not provide much information apart from handing over the room keys. I initially expected the Wi-Fi password to be written on the key envelope, as is typically the case, but it was not there. I tried calling the reception, however there was no phone directory in the room, so I had to come down to the reception to obtain this information, which was provided later. Our room was on the 3rd floor and was quite noisy, as we could hear noise from the neighboring room. The night was not comfortable. In the morning, we planned to have breakfast at the hotel, but there was no one available. Eventually, a hotel staff member informed us that it would be better to eat outside. As a result, I had to take my family, including children, out for breakfast.
