Capri Southampton appears to be a confusing property – often described as a nightclub with rooms rather than a traditional hotel. Recent reviews highlight significant issues with service, noise levels, and misrepresented amenities, including a lack of advertised services like breakfast and pool towels. While some guests found the rooms clean and comfortable, many express disappointment with the overall experience and value for money.

I was here specifically for a party weekend. I enjoyed the pool & ketchu shebby be right outside my door. The service people were quick to bring stuff such as a steamer. I had a great time!

I would not recommend staying here at all- unless all other options are sold out. The service is non existent. The people sitting at the front desk sigh and complain anything when asked to do perform their responsibilities, like putting out the breakfast that is promised at 8, or bringing out pool towels when there are none set anywhere else so guests can just grab them. The two vending machines that are in the hallways are broken. The pool looks okay - but apparently doesn’t belong to the hotel - the restaurant comes and kicks you out midday - yes, you aren’t allowed to use the beds in the pool of the hotel you are staying after paying over 1000 a night - a caveat that clearly is not disclosed at booking or check-in. The rooms are beyond basic- only pleasant people were housekeeping staff. Being a hotel guest doesn’t allow you entry to the restaurant or night club without a reservation Do yourself a favor and stay elsewhere.

Absolutely terrible place for families. We had to listen to drunk guests shouting in the hallways until morning, and the noise made it impossible to rest. The staff were rude, unhelpful, and very unprofessional. Definitely not a safe or family?friendly hotel — I strongly recommend avoiding this place.

My boyfriend and our dogs spent the weekend at Capri. I am from the south so this was our first trip to the Hamptons. I had been looking forward to this for years. A few call outs that should be known for people that aren’t familiar with the area. This is a motel attached to a club. I paid $2,500 for the weekend which was supposed to include free breakfast. It did not. We also needed reservations to sit by the pool. The hotel itself was nice. The room was fine. Nothing fancy. But it was insanely bright and we barely slept because of loud music blasting until 4am. Highly disappointed because our bed was literally shaking from the music.

This is a nightclub with rooms rather than a hotel: loud music, people dancing around the pool, and private spaces for intimate encounters. It feels like an hourly-rate hotel with a high turnover rate. There’s nothing wrong with that, but it should be more clearly communicated. The name, in particular, should reflect that this is more of an short-stay hotel intended for short visits than for vacations.

I stayed here last summer and while looking for a hotel for this summer I felt inclined to leave a review. Scrolling through I see a lot of "great" reviews and then a ton of bad ones. Those great reviews have to be fake. A bit about my stay: From the outside, this place looks beautiful, and the place is nicely decorated. In reality the rooms are the furtherest thing from cozy and the place felt rundown and poorly maintained. Myself and a coworker stayed here for a work event and arrived in the evening. To my dismay there was no one on the grounds aside from the person at the front desk about to leave. The supposed restaurant and bar were non existent (closed for no apparent reason) along with the staff. This place has potential, but when I saw the current price I was shocked. It's going for twice it went last year and from the real reviews its seemed to have only gotten worse. There is supposed to be a breakfast included in your stay- I had to chase someone down in the AM to get it. I probably called the front desk 10 times before walking over there and hanging around before someone finally came. The room had no water bottles (you can't drink tap in Southampton), so late at night I had to order water to be delivered because the vending machines they advertised were completely empty. Just such a disappointment for what could potentially be a great place. Do better and realistically price this as a moderate motel. It is not a hotel in any regard.

Stayed at the Capri midweek during the heat wave and had an excellent time. The pool was refreshing with plenty of room to spread out. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The staff is outstanding. So friendly and helpful. The hotel exceeded my expectations.
