Negative Review for Hotels.com I’m genuinely shocked that Hotels.com promotes this property. The experience was unacceptable from the moment we arrived. Two used campers were parked behind the building, food was left outside next to a rat trap, and the overall condition of the grounds was atrocious. Inside the room, we found a used sock on the floor — clearly the room had not been cleaned properly. The hair dryer only worked if you held the button down, and when my wife called the front desk, she was told to walk down and pick up a replacement herself. For a hotel at this price point, that level of service is unbelievable. If you have allergies, avoid this place entirely. The photos on Hotels.com are not accurate or up to date; I would never have booked this property if the listing reflected reality. I’ve stayed in less fortunate countries and had far better experiences. Bottom line: 1. One star is the lowest I can give. 2. Hotels.com needs to reevaluate what they choose to promote — this was disgusting. 3. The price makes the poor conditions even

This hotel looks much better in pictures on the internet than it does in person. I wonder how old those photos are. The property is very dated and hasn't seen a refurbishment in quite some time. The hotel has no services to offer and the only restaurant is closed. The lady that checked me in was polite so that was a positive. There are broken things and water stains throughout. My room has stains on the carpet, mold around the tub/shower, gouges in the toilet seat, and curtains falling off the rod. The bed however is comfortable and the sheets were clean. Housekeeping does not make up the room daily and if you want fresh towels you must go to the front desk to get them (silly me thinking they would be brought to the room). This is a one and done experience for me. I'm not a snob and I give grace on many things but sadly there are too many things at this hotel. Oh, and outside the entrance door to the building my room is in there is a broken crack pipe just to add to the ambience.

This hotel seems to try the hardest to do the least. Just enough to stay open. Nothing to show that they care. Or they are barely making it survive. I added some photos so you know what you will get. The basics. The room was clean enough. The water was hot. There weren't any bugs or mold that I could see in the room. The doors to the building weren't secure. The common areas had no airflow or AC. Everything that seemed like it could be, just wasn't. One ice machine in the whole building was working and it looks like it is from the 80's. Vending machines were bare or turned off. Basically, this is as basic as it gets. I can't give it a one-star because you can stay. You can get sleep. You can shower. A one-star would have been me forfeiting the money and staying elsewhere. So, you pay a basic amount. You get a basic stay. Just know, it isn't luxury.

Avoid this hotel!!! I stayed here for one night, and it was one of the worst hotel experiences I've ever had. As soon as I checked in, I noticed a cockroach crawling on the front desk counter. I pointed it out to the receptionist, but she didn't seem concerned at all and simply left it there. When I got to my room, things only got worse. The toilet clearly hadn't been cleaned and still had hair and urine on the toilet seat. The room did not feel sanitary, and I was so uncomfortable that I didn't even shower there. The next morning, I left as early as possible and drove to LA Fitness just to work out and take a shower somewhere clean. This place is absolutely atrocious and should be avoided at all costs. I honestly would have been better off sleeping in my car and saving the $200 I spent on this hotel.

Average stay, but was good. Its not a fancy place. simple, average, and clean place to sleep. Room was clean. Elements of the property show disrepair. The rugs need replacing in many places throughout the property, but the general character of the place is clean. The property is bordering the limit of the MacArthur Airport, so you will hear and feel the planes landing and taking off. Its a small airport, so the jet traffic is sparse, but loud/rumbly. There isn't a restaurant on the premises. That area appeared to be closed. However, there is an excellent diner across the street, and the hotel location is close to other places to eat. I did feel safe. Staff was always available at the desk when I needed. Plenty of parking.

Me and some friends were staying here for one night and to start checking in took at least 2 minutes so it’s pretty quick to go book and check in. To mention the room was actually pretty clean and zero bedbugs which is an automatic plus. Didn’t get to go in the pool but taking a look at it, it looked clear and clean. It’s not the prettiest on the outside and it seems a lil spooky in the hallways that could be fixed up a bit, but inside the rooms and all ain’t bad. I definitely recommend staying here a night or so.

I have to say for this hotel to be overlooked. These past few days has been pleasant between the clean room, the staff being polite and generous having urgency to make sure I have everything even after hours .They’ll accommodate if anything is wrong even offered me a upgrade one time . It may not look pleasant on the outside, but you will get a great night sleep ,very quiet & no hassle by the staff . I recommend this hotel. Especially if you looking for a quick with convenience and a fair price, The clarion is it .

Places dirty, rooms are not like they described in the photos, I refuse to stay. Guy at the front desk cursed at me and my wife because I asked for my cash deposit back. They put us all the way in the back of the hotel where there was garbage leaning against a side of the building light poles on the ground. Do yourself a great favor and don't go there even if the price is right it's not worth it.

I had to leave early due to the fact that this place gave me breathing issues in the middle of the night. Mold, hair from previous guests on the toilet and bathrooms. Smells awful. And they refunded me and then took my money back out of my account and I’m still fighting with my bank for it. I filed a complaint with the front desk. They gave me the run around and I still do not have my money back. Please be careful checking into this place. It’s awful!

Room was nice, old TV, phone did not work. Comfy beds, nice size bathroom had a tub. Clean nice amount of little things like lotion and a coffee lot along with fridge and microwave. All for a less than 100 dollar room. No free breakfast though. In believe they have a breakfast buffet for 8 or 9 dollars though. Staff was very nice and genuine as well.
