I was really hopeful for my stay at Ocean Colony, having stayed in the area the past two years, but I'll never return. From the jump, management was beyond rude, and this continued through our stay. Our group of six was placed next to a newborn baby during a busy holiday weekend, despite management knowing our size in advance a clear case of poor planning. Unsurprisingly, we received a noise complaint from the father, who verbally assaulted my friend and screamed his held off at her. The next day, management threatened to kick us out if we were loud again, even though we apologized and corrected our behavior immediately. When checking out, I shared that we felt like we had to walk on eggshells, and the manager cut me off, said he didn't care, and offered no solution. This left us feeling unwelcome and frustrated. I wouldn't recommend Ocean Colony if you're hoping for a relaxing, enjoyable stay.

Do not come here if you want to have an enjoyable vacation. The staff is very untrained and not welcoming in the slightest. We were berated by other guests and management did nothing to help out. When simply asking where to take out our trash you would’ve thought we asked the manager to recite 1000 numbers of pi. We will never be returning here and I highly suggest you take your business to Windward shores next door who has never failed us. This place SUCKS!

Do Not stay here. My wife and I arrived and found 2 ticks in our bed. I have Lyme disease and this could put my health at further risk and management could not care less. Upon entering unit 823, there is a mildew smell and we opened the closet door which immediately fell off its track and hit my dog. My wife and I asked for a refund 15 minutes after arriving as we did not feel clean or safe here. The management company said there hands were tied and refused to give us any money back for a 3-day stay ($1450). We have never been mistreated like this before and we are very upset. We hope the owner does the right thing and reads this as this is not how you treat people.

We love this place so much, and return every year. This place is a great mix of hotel and airbnb style stay. You have shared amenities such as a pool, game room, beach and tennis courts and laundry room; but enjoy the comforts of an airbnb or private residence such as a private kitchenette, private balcony, and private living room for playing games or watching a movie after a long day at the beach or in the pool. It is also close to Montauk and Amagansett which have nice restaurants, coffee shops and excursions. There are also two restaurants within walking distance of the hotel. Overall this is a wonderful place to stay for a Hamptons vacation.

Hammil has been so amazing in answering all questions, providing suggestions and spent probably a solid 15 mins walking us though everything over the phone. The place exceed all expectations, our room was newer, very clean. The beach is steps away, the beach personnel is very organized. The pool was warm, and super fun for kids. Teh biggest things the stuff was there when we needed something, but at the same time very secluded, chill atmosphere

I've stayed here for two years in a row now and hopefully for many more to come! The location is fantastic, the private beach access is wonderful. It's quiet, family-oriented and the room balconies are such a nice perk. Right down the road from a seafood shack and Goldberg's bagels, and a quick drive to the center of Montauk or popular restaurants/bars. This year, our stay was affected by Hurricane Henri. We had to leave early for safety reasons; Ocean Colony originally wanted to credit us for a future stay, but after speaking with management they were able to give us a full refund for the night. Their excellent customer service is duly noted and I highly recommend choosing here for your Hamptons visit! Thank you Ocean Colony!
