The Comfort Inn Medford-Long Island receives generally positive feedback, particularly highlighting its convenient location near the L.I.E. and helpful staff. While some reviews mention the need for updates and occasional issues with room cleanliness or air quality, the hotel’s affordability and friendly service contribute to a satisfactory overall experience for many guests. Frequent visitors appreciate its consistent cleanliness and budget-friendly rates.
They try good price they can give discounts so push them a little at check in . Takes a while for hot water to build up in sink and shower security guard makes round and was loud letting hallway door slam closed behind him I called front desk and they were nice about it and said they will let security know. Phone in room not working. Room is and mostly clean but little outdated rugs look like they could be changed gave a dirty appearance but they are renovating beds comfortable sheets clean. LIE right next door very convenient places to eat near by and breakfast was good with variety of choices overall very nice and pleasant I would come again.
My accommodations for the night could not have been better. Charlie at the front desk was an extraordinary addition to my stay. He checked me in and offered up directions to local eateries.
I was a bit skeptical about staying here based upon past reviews. However, I did not encounter a single issue during my three nights. Yes, the hotel is a bit older, but they are in the process of updating. My room was clean, it had a mini-fridge, microwave, and a coffee maker. Their breakfast was included and VERY nice. There were a variety of choices, even eggs, sausages. The hotel was easy to find and conveniently located off the L.I.E. They had free parking, which is GREAT, as I simply cannot understand why a lot of hotels in the area charge $10-$20 a night to park on their property. I think that is absurd and a quick way to NOT attract guests. This hotel had plenty of places to eat nearby as well. Every staff member was friendly, kind, and very helpful. This makes a hotel stay extremely satisfying for a traveler. I want to thank this Comfort Inn for a pleasant stay, and when I return to Long Island in the future, this is where I plan on staying.
The Comfort Inn was very clean, quiet, and the staff was super nice and helpful. Their complimentary breakfast was delicious.
Needed a hotel room least minute (actually, early in the day) and unlike their next door neighbor who couldn't accommodate me even though I'm a member (Marriott), THIS location gladly helped me and even helped me save a little money. The front desk was very friendly and efficient. The room was clean, comfortable and actually quite nice. The location itself (right off of Interstate 495 - the L.I.E. on Route 112) was perfect. The bed was decent and clean. Overall a nice experience and I WILL be back next time I'm in the area.
For a budget hotel it is a great place to stay it's clean you get a continental breakfast that actually has eggs and not just a cold bagel. The rates are good the place is clean the maids do great job. Hotel is comfortable quiet and satisfactory to me.
This was a wonderful hotel. We stayed here for about a week. The cleaning ladies kept our room super clean, was very sweet, and kind. The front desk people gave great recommendations for restaurants that were spot on. Stay at this hotel if you get the chance.
I've stayed here three years in a row now. I like it. No bugs so thats really my biggest thing that I love. Things are not super new, but everything is clean. This particular time I stayed, I think my only complaint will be the air quality inside the room. I know for sure it was the AC in the room because I only had issues when in the room. When I left I could breathe fine, soon as I was back in the room my nose got stuffy. Otherwise everything was perfect. Perhaps the AC units should be cleaned? I don't know. I do like staying here though, as I said I've stayed here three times now each time I come to NY from SC.
The service was wonderful! We had flight delays and my family arrived before I did. The staff was very kind and helpful. The location was so convenient and easy to find. The rooms could use some updating, but they were clean.
It was hands down the worst hotel experience of my life. My wife and I were so congested nasally every time and only when were in our room. We opted to drive 6 hours home to Oneida County rather than spend another miserable night in that room. It was like mold, or dust, but not really interested in exploring to find out. Asking for a new room felt like a gamble, because even if they had said yes, we weren't convinced we'd have a similar situation it the new room. It was so bad that we have spent the first 2 hours of our ride back with the windows down to air out our stuff. Needless to say, we will never be back, and will be letting everyone we cross paths with for the foreseeable future about our experience at this hotel. Worst "sleep" of my life the first night, if you can call it that. Both my wife and I kept waking up congested, and every hour or so all night. It smelled damp and musty, despite being very dry air from the AC running all night. If you've made it this far and are STILL considering booking a room, you are really gambling, because the room we had was so bad it was worth it to drive the Long Island Expressway, through and out of the city up to 87 at 530pm on a Friday. Just saying.
