Checked in today. Great location! Unfortunately they’re doing construction, and I was put in the only room directly next to / in front of said construction. It’s currently 10:30 PM and the construction crew is still hammering away and yelling (thankfully the radio turned off around 9:30). I called the front desk, and they informed me there was nothing that could be done, since management is apparently not actually on site, but they’ll “forward an email complaint.” I guess the lesson is, I shouldn’t go to the Hamptons unless I can afford one of the fancy places. $500 a night doesn’t get you much here! Bit of a bummer, I really needed the break.

We love our stay here, room was cleaned every day. We also love that we can reserve a seat at the beach every morning. The pool was great as well not too cold! This place is pretty away from the center of attraction of montauk but it’s only 8-10mins drive there. But honestly it gives us a great distance from the crowd and having a private beach is amazing!

We love the driftwood on the ocean in Montauk. Always have a great time! Just wanted to advise that room # 14 Only has 1 tiny face mirror in the bathroom I am sure that other people would greatly appreciate a full mirror on closet door as well As adding a shelf in the bathroom for toiletries. An easy fix to make a stay here even better!!

The room was decent, however the issue was with an air purifier or dehumidifier in the room that I was unable to control or turn off at night. So an otherwise peaceful location was interrupted by a very loud machine the entire night, clicking on and off, making it absolutely impossible to sleep.

Perfect resort motel for families. Lots of amenities including grills and outdoor patios, easy beach access, and heated pool. My family has been going here for years and we love it. If you want to spend a week or weekend on the beach and relaxing with your family I can’t think of a better place than the Driftwood.

Absolutely lovely stay here. We came during the off season to avoid crowds and so we didn't use all of the amenities, but it was just what we were looking for: Lodging for three with kitchenette near town and the lighthouse and with access to the ocean. Bonus was the size of the private deck and the seating out there. Front desk was friendly and helpful. Looking forward to coming again.

The place is outstanding. Nice, clean, beautiful. I loved the beautiful grounds of the resort. The room was fresh and clean. They had everything you may need: fridge, microwave, pans, coffee machine with capsules, even paper towels. It felt like a resort somewhere in Mediterranean. It was expensive, but at the end of the day everything was expensive in Montauk. I loved the natural reserve near by and our room was facing it. The main gem of this place was its staff crew. Everybody made us feel welcomed and cared. Usually it is hard to get a reservation here because so many people love it, but I highly recommend this place.
