This Residence Inn offers a clean facility and accommodating staff, with great amenities like pools, hot tubs, and a complimentary breakfast. However, recent and frequent reviews point to inconsistent cleanliness, unresponsive housekeeping, and limited connectivity.
We booked one night for one person. I stopped by to her in morning since wasn't feeling well and my dog makes her smile..we find a $75 pet fee!!!! When called manager to discuss at 8am..by 5 pm no call back. No notice on a pet fee..if didn't notice it would be stuck paying. Customers should deserve a response..no??? Still waiting..
At first glance it was great. Checked in on a Sunday, staying through Wednesday. Was informed no one would service the room, which was great. Went to the room, only two towels, called down to the front desk to ask for two more towels, waited an hour, then had to leave. Called the next day, never saw them. Pool was cloudy with dirty towels laying all over at 1 pm. A man came in to check the temp of the hot tub and pool and left, didn’t clean anything, we were in the hot tub. TV volume didn’t go loud enough to hear it. Definitely not impressed
This is our first time at a Residence Inn, it’s been a while since we’ve stayed with a Marriott property, but needless to say this is a very nice facility. The staff is very very accommodating and friendly. Rooms are very nice and clean, few discrepancies but that’s a matter of taste. My only real complaint this whole time has been the finicky WiFi. And the entry/exiting of the property. You had to down about 3/4’s of a mile to U-turn and come back into town. And if you’re coming in from the freeway, you have to turn into the outlets or find somewhere election-turn and get back to the property. I suggest the owners purchase an easement that runs behind the DOT facility next door and into the Walmart lot to make it much more viable.
This place was nice. The staff is accommodating and helpful. I want to shout out Hugh and the twins that work in the kitchen area. Everywhere was well kept. My room had a slight odor but others I was very pleased with the cleanliness and customer service regarding the room. The conference areas were clean and ventilated. I also enjoyed the entertainment room for guests. It’s conveniently located near Tanger mall and several restaurants. Other stores were also close by such as Walmart, Target and a few favs. Continental breakfast is a huge hit. The rooms are a bit pricey but it worth the price. You can enjoy the pools and other amenities. Definitely recommending this place. I was with a group of 200+. This was my second time here and can’t wait for my next visit in a few months. Check it out yourselves.
Room was excellent and the breakfast was satisfying. The front desk lady was not very helpful. I asked three times in one day to have our room serviced, never happened. I called for towels, nothing came. I went down to front desk, she said they would be sent up. 45 minutes later, we received our towels. We stayed four days and room was never serviced.
Digusting hotel. Other than fresh towels, there is no way our room was properly cleaned. Half ass job at best. There was a pinkish orange stain on the comforter, blue spots left on the counter, no tissues in the tissue container, and the conditioner broken off the shower wall. I get it, this isn’t considered a nice hotel but I expect the bare minimum clean and stocked up tissues! Next gets me to the clientele. We have a woman stuffing her bag with items from the free breakfast, a man walking around barefoot dripping wet in the elevator, and half the guests in their pajamas at breakfast. Real classy… You see it all here. Also, they don’t clean the room daily but I guess that’s to be expected here. For the staff, they’re fine. They were nice at checkout and checkin and gave us bottles of water when we arrived. They do the bare minimum and that’s fine for a hotel that’s $170 a night. This hotel serves its purpose to sleep but other than that, don’t think you’re coming to have an enjoyable stay.
I’m usually a guest at Marriotts more elite collections and only stayed here for one night, but our experience was incredibly pleasant, especially for the rate. The market was great and the free breakfast was good value without having to leave the hotel. The indoor and outdoor hot tub/pool was a great option to have. The location was wonderful and close to outlets, a Walmart/Target, and EV charging. Thank you Marriott!
We chose the hotel for our wedding block. Price was affordable and they had a lot of rooms to availability, with nice facilities. They also have additional banquet rooms, bridal suites, and private bar upstairs. We rented the “lounge” or upstairs bar for our afterparty. Bartenders were great, ambiance was clean, and it was flexible for my guests to attend. I had to stay on top of the manager/coordinator, with various calls to confirm pricing and room block availability though. Late night food was mediocre, but edible. Overall, did the trick for my event.

Rooms were not clean. Shower needed a good scrubbing. The room showed lots of wear and tear. Definitely time for a renovation. Stayed four nights. Ate breakfast once. Couldn’t even drink the coffee.
