I forgot my orthopedic pillow and they kindly mailed it to me upon my request. Cant beat the view no matter what the season. Ive been to the Condos both summer and winter. They are clean and comfortable. Bring yr own blanket to snuggle with on couch while sitting next to fireplace watching the ocean.

Only nice thing about this place is that it’s in Montauk. We had a room that only had hot water but we didn’t realize that until the morning. Called the office, they sent someone who said they couldn’t do anything they offered us a ‘new room’ to shower in but we were checking out in an hour and didn’t want to lug everything there. I wasn’t looking for a free room but at least 20% for the unconvinced. I’m sure anywhere else is better than this place- in service and maintenance. I recommend Solé Beach across the street.

Many years going there & Diana(blonde always there, hope I get name right) is always extremely helpful and smiling, including on phone. The manager Irfan not so much. The wifi went down at 1:00 pm till 8pm with a simple fix he knew nothing about, mind you I offered to fix as I depend on working while there on my computer. I was lied to by him for 3 hours it'll be fixed and it wasn't until a helpful maintenance worker came to my room to try to rid A MOUSE (didnt) had to show him the easy fix I suggested. I lost quite a bit of money and yes Cheryl offered a little off my last night stay which wasn't nearly the amount I lost.I'm giving another chance, hoping I don't regret it.

Just did a long weekend at the Royal Atlantic. While RA could use a good make over, everything was clean and comfortable. I would not hesitate to recommend, and you can't beat the location. I feel I must give a shout out to the staff, Martin the pool lifeguard, and Andrew in the restaurant, both top notch guys! They made our stay even better. The "free" breakfast is an delicious added bonus. Already talking about next year.

My wife and I come out every year for a weekend getaway every September. This year was the first time they had the outdoor bar open. Weather was amazing. The pool heater they shut off and pumped cold tap water into. My thought was if it’s a beautiful sunny weekend why not have the pool heater on. Other odd thing is the rooms are fitted with smart TVs. Yet the hotel offers no why so you can’t stream anything. Makes no sense. The hotel restaurant is beautiful I remember coming here as a kid. Good food and great times. Yet they do not have it open for lunch dinner or evening drinks. Another puzzling thing this place has missed the mark on. I hope they read this and actually consider making changes.

Came here for a long weekend at the end of the September (Sunday to Tuesday) and got an amazing rate. Rooms have been updated to be pretty modern for the most part and everything feels clean. Small range to cook on if you so choose and a mini fridge as well as a sink in case you want to do any cooking in the room. Breakfast is complimentary, it might not be anything to write home to mom about, but it's certainly better than your typical continental buffet, I recommend the Belgian waffle. Staff was nothing but pleasant and helped us with exceptional service everyday that we were there. The hotel is walking distance to a ton of shops and restaurants in town and is located right on the beach, so it doesn't get much better than that. We had stayed on the second floor and some of the boards while walking around on the balcony/walkways felt a tad loose but were covered up carpet so it wasn't easy to see. A few extra screws and some new boards would go a long way there. Also only one ice machine at the opposite end of the hotel. Overall a nice experience and would be glad to comeback here on our next stay in Montauk.

upon arrival the check in girl was very rude, the rooms could of been bigger for what we paid but it was a nice ambiance and the location of the hotel is outstanding. Take advantage of the complimentary breakfast, it’s very good! One day we got breakfast ‘to go’ for pick up and ate on the beach. The heated pool was very nice. A big downside are the bathrooms in the rooms are very small/shower outdated and small. The walls are paper thin so you can hear everything. The AC was loud enough where if you kept it on it would drown out the screaming, yelling, rowdiness going on outside. This wasn’t no 9 pm either, more like midnight. I had a 1 year old baby with me. The hotel did provide a crib which was a big plus for us as we didn’t have to lug our pack n play up the steps since there is no elevator and you have to walk your luggage up two flights of stairs (if you are on the top floor) The first day we were on the beach a field mouse was running all over everyone’s stuff, it was scared and I’ve never really witnessed a mouse running on the beach before. I was convinced I kept hearing mice scratching in the walls of the rooms but who knows. Royal Atlantic did have its ups and downs but we would give it another shot if it made small improvements.

Location is the only thing you pay for. The rest is really sad how they use your money. Rooms newly renovated. AC units extremely old loud and leaking all over the rugs outside the rooms. You can smell mold everywhere. The bathroom doors have mold due to no ventilation. You can not open bathroom door fully without hitting toilet. Not handicap friendly at all. Won’t be able to move wheelchair or stroller around. You will see guests helping lift wheelchairs up and down the steps. Pretty sad. The wood frames on the deck are rotted and breaking. Unsafe in every way. Don’t know how they pass any codes. The royal Atlantic beach bar and breakfast was surprisingly well run. Diego was excellent and on top of everything.
