Sannino Vineyard B&B consistently receives glowing reviews, emphasizing a warm, family-owned atmosphere and exceptional wine experiences. Guests frequently highlight the beautiful grounds, attentive staff, and engaging tours led by the owners and family. While some have noted minor issues with the checkout process, the overall experience is overwhelmingly positive.
Just had a bottle of their white Fresco Blend for the first time at the Red Rooster Bistro In Cutchogue last night. It was outstanding. I will be stopping by this summer to pick up more bottles for home. Also nice to see they have some fellow Cornelians in the next generation of winemakers!
What a beautiful winery, and I cannot say enough good things about our one night at Sannino. We had never stayed at a B&B and wow this place did not disappoint. The private entrance and breakfast brought to our room was what sold me on the decision to stay here. We stayed in the Tuscan Suite and the room was exceptionally beautiful with the highlight being the balcony overlooking the vineyard. It was the closest thing to a wonderful stay we had in the past at Senza in Napa. The charcuterie board and wine flights were delicious and really made the price tag worth it. We loved the wine, the staff, the family and especially the adorable 2 dogs that live on property. (If you’re not a dog person, I had to request to see them, it seems they try and keep them away from potentially bothering anyone) loved it so much we’re already planning our next trip back!
My wife and I took part in a wine blending experience that was fantastic. The owner, Tony was our engaging host and guide. Throughout our tour of the beautiful grounds and building, whether standing between rows of vines (with glass in hand) or sampling several wines, we all benefited from Tony's expertise and his obvious passion for winemaking. A lunch break was followed by each of us sampling several wines, picking the favorite according to our own tastes, and then experimenting in concocting our own special blend and bottling it to take home. It was everything we could want: informative, engaging, and fun. Happy to be a wine club member here.
We hosted our engagement party here and had such a wonderful experience from start to finish. Ava was lovely to work with from our very first email. She was warm, organized, and really attentive throughout the entire planning process and on the day itself, and she even took some photos of my fiancé and me that we’ll definitely keep. The space itself is gorgeous and so warm, you really feel at ease the moment you walk in, and the cherry blossoms made it even more beautiful (thankfully the weather cleared out enough for us to be able to move outdoors!). The wine was exceptional across the board, but their Vivacious sparkling wine was a standout and a huge hit with our guests (we ordered some bottles to take home, and several guests did too! ). Being family-owned really shows in the best way, as there’s a personal touch you don’t get everywhere, and every single person we met was so kind. Would highly recommend and we will definitely be coming back!
A friend and I took the wine tour with Anthony. He was so engaging and made it so much fun. We grew up here, but this was our first time learning about how special it is to be able to grow grapes here. Would definitely recommend Sannino to everyone. Make sure you get a glass of the Merlot!!!
Had an excellent visit to the tasting room! It’s a lovely family operation that is well run and you can tell they care. From the young daughter that told me all about their history to meeting Anthony the owner - it was a lovely experience! Aaand the wine was fantastic! Get the Petit Verdot! Also shout out to Alex our sever she was awesome!
My wife and I love a quick trip down the north fork to Saninnos Winery. Being club members we’ve attended many events and stayed in their B&B. If you want to become a family member instead of a customer, Saninnos is the place for you. It’s warm feel is only topped by the warm staff. Owners Anthony and Lisa are wonderful, as are their children. It’s all hands on deck. They’re personable, approachable and invite you to join them and experience the wine, not just taste it. I highly recommend a visit to their winery.
Sannino delivered! What a great experience was had. From live music on a Friday evening upon arrival to the lovely bites that paired with all wine flights with friendly staff, to the beautiful suite with stunning vineyard views and the homemade breakfast made and delivered by Mrs. Sannino herself, it truly was worth every bit of time spent. Sailor the dog was also incredibly friendly every morning with his adorable visits and love. This paisan will definitely be back. Thank you for everything Sannino Family! Keep up your beautiful mission and thank you for sharing it with the world.
We had a great time celebrating a girls trip at Sannino Vineyards! Food was excellent, I had an apple pie Chardonnay slushie that was delicious and my friends had a bottle of Pinot. Service was excellent as our waitress made great suggestions and even helped us pick our next vineyard to try. Highly recommend stopping here for the wine, food, service, and the beautiful grounds and photo ops!!
This was an excellent experience until the very end, hence the four stars instead of the five stars. I’ll start with the difficulty, and then move onto the goodness. Hopefully my suggestion for improvement will be heard for a five-star experience in the future! So what happened? We were having a lovely experience; we stopped in to get a few bottles of wine to take with us back to the house for a brunch we were hosting. So this was a quick tasting for us. And we told the server that, and she was excellent and brought everything out very quickly. Our problem happened when it was time to check out. It seemed to be quite chaotic. We didn’t have the correct wine, and then we asked if we could have it cold, because we’d be serving it right away, and it wasn’t clear who was waiting on whom in order of being able to Pay and get our order placed. The checkout area was just really quite confusing. Other people were waiting around and they weren’t sure where to go, and I don’t know exactly what happened, but it was fairly messy. I think they just needed more people at check-out directing people to the correct lines, because again, it was a bit confusing. Now onto the good experience. The wines are very good. The server said she was related to the family, and she proceeded to really do an excellent job in explaining the wines. I caught a bit of a video of her, and I’m sure that made her a little nervous, but she did great! So the family should be proud of her. She was courteous; she was on time, and she knew what she was talking about. She also favored us with some photos, even though we were in a big rush. The setting was beautiful, and they had plenty of dappled Shady areas with plenty of umbrellas. Overall, this would’ve been a five star experience, except, again, trying to check out was just really quite chaotic and confusing. We will be back! And hopefully they will have resolved whatever happened at check out!
