Five Stars!! Seven on Shelter Island is a true art-filled gem and the kind of place you wish you could keep to yourself! It is set in a stunning location, that even on a snowy winter weekend, perfectly captured the peaceful beauty of the island. Our welcoming and friendly host Beth, thoughtfully curated the house with art and furniture from her well-trained eye for beauty and function. It is a serene haven, by any standard. Our mornings were a highlight thanks to the divine breakfast that was provided—fresh, beautifully prepared, and made with care. It was the perfect way to start our day of exploring and/or simply relaxing on the property (which included vintage Pendleton wool blankets to keep us warm on the porch!) No review would be complete without mention of Beth's "co-host" Peaches", her beautiful Weimaraner who helped make this BNB house feel like home! If you’re looking for a luxurious yet intimate escape with heart, character, and impeccable hospitality, Seven on Shelter Island delivers in every way. We will be back!! D&D

Beth is the absolute best! Accommodating a last minute booking with an extra bed for our daughter, and food and water bowls for our pooch, she welcomed us like family. Her attention to detail made our off season stay wonderful in every way, not least of all with the delicious breakfast spread enjoyed looking out past a burning fireplace at the softly falling snow outside. The property is manicured, the structures are immaculate and the art is curated. We look forward to our return in the warmer months when we can enjoy the pool!

From the moment I made our reservation, I knew we were in for something special. Beth was an absolute delight to speak with, so pleasant and welcoming! We had read wonderful reviews before booking, but our stay far exceeded our expectations. When we arrived, we were greeted like old friends. Beth’s warmth and hospitality shone through in every thoughtful touch throughout the inn. The rooms were immaculate and fresh, and the common areas were cozy and inviting. The pool was a perfect 10! Whether we were enjoying a delicious breakfast that felt straight out of a French café or sitting by the fire at night chatting with new friends, everything about the weekend was divine. It was the perfect place to unwind, be present, and truly relax. And of course, we can’t forget Peaches, the sweetest, most loving inn dog who made our stay even more special. Had an amazing weekend here! Beth is so kind, the rooms were beautiful, the property is stunning, and the breakfast was delicious. Beth’s dog is a sweetheart and it is dog friendly if you want to bring your pups. It’s a great location in walking distance from the beach, and they provide beach gear to use. Will definitely be returning when we come back to shelter island.

This was our first time visiting Shelter Island but Seven is now our new home away from home all thanks to Beth. She's an amazing host- she loves her guests and pays attention to every detail which you will see with the space, cleanliness, and the accommodations. We can't wait to come back!

Amazing property with every thing you need including a nice outdoor pool and a gym. Beautifully decorated with great art and design all around and very confortable rooms. Crescent beach is 5 minutes walking from Seven. There is a great restaurant just next door and the breakfast at Seven is delicious. Beth is a great host and makes you feel home.

Absolutely loved our stay at Seven on Shelter Island. It’s one of those rare finds that feels both elevated and effortlessly welcoming - a total gem. The house has such a fun, relaxed vibe - it felt like we were sharing a beautiful, modern home with just one or two other couples. Super intimate, peaceful, and perfectly curated. Beth is fabulous - warm, attentive, and so thoughtful. She’s truly the heart of the place and adds such a personal touch to the entire experience. There were so many great little details that made the stay feel extra special: music playing by the heated pool, candles glowing around the house at night, s’mores by the fire pit, and a delicious, healthy breakfast spread each morning. We also appreciated the option to buy drinks on-site - such a convenient and thoughtful touch. They’ve really thought of everything - from beach chairs, towels, umbrellas, and a cooler to bikes available for guests, which made it so easy to explore the island. The location is perfect - tucked away for peace and quiet, yet just minutes from everything. Can’t recommend it enough. It felt like a mini escape, and we’re already dreaming of coming back!

From the moment I made contact with Beth, she was very responsive. We stayed at Seven for three nights and were made to feel very comfortable. The Inn is spotless, tastefully decorated and well located. The AC works great, which was much appreciated since it was extremely hot while we were there.. The pool is lovely, as is the freestanding fire pit which is on each night by the pool should you want to enjoy a glass of wine or just hang out. Breakfast is included and it’s delicious; including coffee, tea, croissants, fresh berries and more. Our room was very comfortable, and I loved the lavender soap in the shower, and the deep soaking tub. To top it off, there is an “open air” gym which made it possible for me to enjoy my peloton routine each morning. Thank you Beth, we loved our stay!
