This place was incredible. They provide 5 star service in every area. The hosts and staff were all so kind and helpful. I'm a vegan and the food they prepared were some of the best and most unique dishes ive ever had. I also had a variety of different services including a Thai massage, shamanic healing, soul recovery, healing yoga, and a facial. Each service was so unique and amazing. The soul retrieval ceremony was a transformative experience. 12/10 overall. I cant wait to go back!!

What a hidden gem in the Hamptons! Have been going to Gurney’s for an annual friend’s trip over the past ten years. We decided to stay at SSBH instead and it was hands down a superior experience. The staff is incredible - Caroline was an exceptional host, above & beyond. The gentleman who is the chef went out of his way to make our stay memorable. I’ve already booked another visit with a separate group of friends. Worth the price if you want a great stay!

We had such a restorative weekend at Shou Sugi Ban House. From the moment we arrived, the service was warm, thoughtful, and genuinely exceptional. The rooms were gorgeous. Peaceful, beautifully designed, and incredibly comfortable. Every detail felt intentional and calming. One of the biggest highlights for our group was the sound bath with Jess, which was such a grounding and memorable experience. It truly made the stay feel special and unique. The breakfast each morning was also outstanding. An incredibly relaxing and rejuvenating experience overall. We left feeling completely reset and already looking forward to coming back.

Shou Sugi Ban House is the premier Hotel spa and wellness center on the east end of Long Island. As a local realtor when people are coming out here to view homes and they need a place to stay I wholeheartedly recommend this amazing hotel. The service the attention to detail food lodging, All rate a 10 out of 10. The spa is sublime the treatments have a European style to them. The massage therapist are highly skilled and highly trained. I look forward to returning. It gets my highest recommendation.

I had the most amazing experience! I had a massage with Bonnie and a facial with Karen and they were the best. I’ve traveled to spas all over the country and other countries and I have yet to find one that made me feel as comfortable. It was my birthday they made me feel like a princess.

Such a beautiful staycation. And equally special in the winter. From our arrival to departure, every concern and care- addressed. Faves: fireplace in the middle of a snowstorm, deep soaking tub, private outdoor space and food. Will definitely be back. ?

What a GEM! Went with my girlfriend for a New Year’s weekday getaway and this place exceeded expectations. Spa was a little small but staff was incredible, food was on point and a beautiful reset. Definitely will be coming back. Beds can be a bit better (and bigger) but nothing but good vibes out here. We really appreciated spending our days with them. Thank you!

I was excited to visit for the first time but when I woke up to 6"+ of snow and a sore throat, I called to reschedule. They advised me that if I could not make it I would be charged 50% and that there would be no further flexibility even though everything else in town was closed for the snow. Needless to say I will not be rebooking as they were rude and unoccomodating.

If you’re looking for the best facial of your life, you’re in great hands with Natalia. I had the lift facial and my skin hasn’t looked this good in nearly two decades. The amenities are also stellar here, with the staff really going out of their way to make sure you’re taken care of. The restaurant is also phenomenal, this place really is a perfect experience for an afternoon.

I had the most restorative experience at Shou Sugi Ban House. As requested, I took my wife for her birthday. I did not expect to have one of the most memorable days of our lives. The environment is serene and beautifully curated, every detail invites calm. The spa was immaculate and intentional. My wife’s massage with Katie was incredible, deeply healing and invigorating. Special thanks to Dena and Summer, and the rest of the staff, who were patient, organized, and made everything flow effortlessly. 6 stars for the Chef, our meal was delicious and beautifully presented. True hospitality and holistic care. We left feeling lighter, clearer, and deeply nourished. Thank you again. Can’t wait to return!
