Very loud. Kids screaming, large parties yelling up and down the hallway at all hours. Doors and walls are so thin you can hear them like they are in the room next to you. And its not just guests. Housekeeping sounds like they are rearranging furniture everytime they are in a room cleaning. And they yell to each other in the halls. The rooms are nice and clean. The hotel is the only one in town. So they have that going for them. But if you want any quiet, or sleep, this is not the place. And yes, I did say something to the front desk.

Clean and new rooms, good breakfast, outstanding location, and pretty good gym too. I was pleasantly surprised - I had moderate expectations and this place overdelivered. A very solid place to stay when visiting northern Long Island. I would recommend this place to anyone.

Hotel Best for weddings and High school reunions !! Great Huntington hotel for location. The old town hall was converted to a hotel. WOW !! New feeling and modern. The rooms work very well. Upgraded bathrooms kitchen area. Exercise room top shelf. Manager Jose Luis is on top of this operation. Lots of extras to make your stay more comfortable. Parking can be ruff, but the town has ample parking behind the hotel. If you are coming to Huntington this is the hotel to stay. I will be back !!

This is a really nice hotel. It was renovated from an old city hall so it has an odd layout but the hotel is very nice. Dealt with Jose at check in and Joselyn a couple times and they were sweet. The location is great, I was able to walk to a lot of the restaurants in downtown Huntington. If you are looking for a central location in Huntington you can not go wrong here....

Very clean, decent breakfast, and friendly staff. There’s free street parking right down the street and lots of great food options within walking distance. Walls are thin, but that’s fairly standard these days!

Great hotel in the heart of town. Walking distance to everything and VERY clean. Staff is awesome too. We uncovered a third-party booking issue upon check-in but Jose and Nathalie were quick and effective in helping it get resolved. 10/10 recommend this hotel.

The hotel has nothing . No restaurant, no bar , no pool . For $400 a night you want to expect some kind of amenities. We sat outside by the fire pit enjoying it for a little and this very rude guy came and shut it off . We asked him to leave it for 10 more minutes - he wouldn’t budge and cursed us out in his native spanish language . Very upsetting . We couldn’t sleep . The room above , people were making a lot of noise . Constantly walking back and forth like elephants. We got zero sleep . Very frustrating .

Our experience started out poorly. We had reserved an accessible room for my sister in law (who was in town for her son's funeral). We were told when we arrived that we couldn't have it because it wasn't available. Instead we got a "hearing accessible" room. It had a light that blinked if someone rang the doorbell. This was of no help at all! We showed the print out of the reservation we had that called showed an Accessible room, but she just shrugged and said there was nothing she could do. We had also requested late check out on our last day, and were told on the phone that it would be no problem. The same woman at the desk told us no, that was not possible, and that we could "hang out" in the breakfast room instead. When we said that we had been told on the phone that it would be fine, she shrugged again and said she didn't see anything in the reservation about that, and again, there was nothing she could do. The rooms were fine, and the breakfast was pretty good. It's nicely located in downtown Huntington, but their customer service was very disappointing when we were there.

Just stayed here the other day for a wedding party in Huntington. One reason we chose to stay here was because upon booking, the representative had agreed to allow us to take our bridal photos in their hotel lounge area. While we were taking said pictures, we were constantly nagged by a rude manager that was giving us dirty looks and scolding us for shifting a few chairs around. She scolded us like children for shutting the tv off for a picture (sorry lady, basketball games dont make a good background for wedding pictures!!!). Please note there were no other people in the lounge with us, we were not bothering anybody and were absolutely planning on putting everything back the way it was. Now to the room- it may as well be no walls between the rooms with how easily it is to hear your neighbors. We could clearly hear normal volume conversations with the rooms directly next to us. Would take a lot of convincing to stay in this hotel again especially at $400 a night for a two bed.

This is my go to hotel. The customer service is topnotch! Nathalie Tolentino, once again helped me with getting the room that best fits my needs for my 11/30/25 stay. She always listens to what I have to say and takes care of my hotel needs. Joselyn Torres is also amazing. She was able to get me into my room earlier than planned due to my arrival time. Joselyn and Nathalie are both very helpful and sincere. Nathalie and Joselyn are amazing hotels representatives for the Hampton Inn & Suites Huntington Downtown. This is a major reason why I love coming to this hotel. Excellent customer service.
