Nice hotel with an amazing view we got the one bedroom with ocean front, it was a corner room so we had views from all windows, there are also seating areas everywhere fronting the water some people were finishing ?we discovered the last day there is a beach near by with a small parking lot and no permits are required The location is also close to multiple restaurants

The biggest perk of the hotel is the sunset from the deck.. Imagine being a guest dining at an outside table with takeout food from Harvest…. A quiet gem away from the action of town…

We stayed for three nights over Memorial Day weekend with family. The room was clean, though a bit tight once the sofa bed was open. No early check-in was available. Our first night in Room 216 was noisy due to guests upstairs until 1 am understandable for a holiday weekend. The next day, various guests were fishing off the hotel deck, which felt out of place. Overall, we had a nice time, but it would’ve been better with more considerate guests or staff supervision.

Awful. Tossed and turned all night on the uncomfortable mattress. The duvet didn’t have a cover on it ? The refrigerator was so loud I had to unplug it. There are no curtains, just crappy plastic shades that don’t block any light. One skylight did not have shades. There is an extremely bright light outside that shines through the glass door all night. Prepare to be woken up by the sun whether you like it or not. Overpriced, uncomfortable, I lost a night of sleep. I cannot overstate my disappointment or anger.

We scheduled a last minute visit and Sun N Sound was recommended by a friend. I was very happy with everything. From the friendly service upon arrival, the cleanliness of the room, the amenities, as well as the beautiful view of the water from the balcony as well as inside the unit. I highly recommend Sun N Sound for anyone looking for a tranquil getaway just a short distance from the action in the center of town.

Our second stay at Sun N' Sound was nothing short of spectacular. This time, we secured a unit with a direct ocean view, and what a game-changer that was. The views and sunsets from our balcony were nothing short of breathtaking, casting a serene spell over our entire stay. The owners were exceptionally accommodating. It's not every day that you encounter dedicated hosts, and it made our stay even more enjoyable. The unit itself was a delight. It was evident that it had undergone recent remodeling, as everything appeared fresh and modern. The location of Sun N' Sound is, without a doubt, one of its prime assets. It offers the perfect blend of privacy and convenience. Being situated right on the oceanfront, we relished in the tranquil surroundings and the soothing sounds of the waves. Yet, when we wanted to venture into town, a short drive was all it took to access all the amenities and attractions we desired. It was the ideal balance for a vacation – a peaceful retreat with easy access to everything we needed.

This motel is located right next to the water on the sound. If you opt for the water-side rooms, the views are calming. But many of the rooms just face the parking lots & the walls are very thin. I was in Room 100 which was clean, linens were soft & had a simple but comfortable set-up. This room is located directly next to the staff office so I could hear every phone call, every arriving car, every conversation happening at the vending machine. I had to keep the rooms blinds closed for privacy, but there were no curtains so the room was pitch dark, no way to enjoy the ocean breezes without also making eye contact with every person who walked past the building. Prices at this motel are a little cheaper than other places, but I'd recommend paying a little more for the ocean view rooms. But if you won't be spending much time indoors and are a heavy sleeper, this is a nice "discount" option. Note: They are listed as having beach access, but there is not on-site beach access, the deck of the property overlooks the water but you still have to travel to get to a beach where you can go into the water. Note: Though a small kitchen is in some rooms, the motel doesn't supply any bottled water or anything for tea/coffee/breakfast service. There is a coffee maker in the room, but bring your own grounds or walk 10mins to nearby markets.
