My husband and I stayed here for a brief vacation. The staff was wonderful however we did have a list of notes: The mini fridge had layers of rust- maintenance had no replacement (the maintenance man came very quickly, but are clearly under-supplied), the wallpaper in the room was peeling from the wall, there was broken unsecure floor tiles. We had to be badged into the pool by staff because the door was broken, and the hot tub did not work at all. The building itself appears so neglected. When the prices are this expensive the quality needs to be there and it was not. We will not be returning.

This room was one of the cleanest I've ever stayed in. Kudos to the housekeeping staff! However, the rooms were not very soundproof and I could hear every word of the conversations in the rooms around mine, and the children yelling until late at night. Reception staff were also very helpful!

Stayed here recently and would definitely recommend it! The location was great. Short drive to restaurants and shopping. Our room was clean, spacious and all of the staff were welcoming and friendly. We didn't try the onsite restaurant this trip but we did appreciate the fruit infused water and coffee/tea available in the lobby . The grounds were clean and well maintained and there was plenty of parking.

We had a wonderful experience staying at the Hilton Garden Inn – Melville for our wedding weekend, where we also booked a room block for our guests. The hotel was conveniently located, the property was well kept, and the rooms were clean, comfortable, and perfect for what we needed. We worked with Tracey throughout the planning process, and she was incredible — kind, patient, responsive, and so helpful with every question we had leading up to the wedding. She made everything easy and stress?free, and we’re so grateful for her support. Thank you so much to Tracey and the entire team for helping make our wedding weekend smooth and enjoyable. BEWARE OF THEFT FROM STAFF What was supposed to be a wonderful stay for my brother in laws wedding was honestly just sad and broke all of my trust in staying at a Hilton again. My family and I stayed for 5 nights. On our second day my Bullova watch went missing along with my wife’s golden bagels. We luckily placed all of our jewlery in the safe and so our major items were not stolen. However in thinking we forgot it, we waited until we got home to confirm. My watch was packed in my suitcase with a travel case watch and they left the case and stole my watch. My wife’s bangles were not pure gold so she didn’t put it in the safe. But they went missing the same day my watch went missing. What’s so sad here is that my parents stayed at the room across and their safe box wasn’t working. So there’s clearly a ring of people at this hotel that works to steal jewlery and highly valuable products. Luckily my parents asked the management for a new safe or to be moved to a different room. This hotel is honestly a nice facility with great amenities but it broke my heart that it violated my privacy and belongings. When we reported the incident they simply said to call the police. They took zero accountability on the incident or a lack of care on the fact that hundreds of dollars of goods were stolen from our room while placing our trust on them to stay at their facility. I won’t be booking with Hilton as an honors member. Once you break trust and lack of accountability/care for the customers, you just can’t go back.

I absolutely love this hotel! This hotel is immaculate. The people that work here are friendly and helpful. The lobby is incredible, the amenities are incredible, and the rooms are incredible. There’s not another hotel on Long Island that I would ever consider staying at. I would like to comment, though on the one thing that I am unhappy about, and that’s the bathrooms. The first thing is that there is no ventilation in the bathrooms. There is a small vent in the ceiling, however, I believe that is for the air conditioning and heating. The water pressure that comes out of the shower is so strong too, but if you want to have nice hot water, that’s the type of pressure that you have to use. With the water pressure being so intense, it is nearly impossible to prevent water from spilling out onto the bathroom floor. Every time I have taken a shower here, when I am getting dried off, there is usually a flood of water outside of the shower, so I right away have to take some towels and throw them on the floor to absorb any water that is on the floor. Also, because of the lack of ventilation, the ceilings always stays dripping wet. Even when nobody is taking a shower, you could see yellow dried water spots on the ceiling, that means that everybody has the same issue that I was experiencing. There should be a way to adjust the water pressure, but after looking at the showerhead, it does not seem like that is possible. I really hope the hotel considers replacing these showerheads with ones that are adjustable, that would help with the water spilling onto the floor. The other issue I have with the bathrooms is that the wash cloths, hand towels, and bath towels, are located on the other side of the bathroom. If you need a towel to get dried off, you have to come out of the shower to take one from the vanity. A suggestion I would make is to remove the painting above the toilet and replace it with a towel rack. That way you could easily reach out of the shower and grab whatever towels you might need. These are minor things that I’m sure can be addressed and I hope that they will be since I plan on spending more time at this hotel whenever I need someplace to stay. I also would like to make one last comment on something that a lot of people also have an issue with, and that’s the actual air conditioner/heater. These units are so noisy. I believe it is because they are not properly maintained. They are very loud when they turn on, and they are very very loud when they are running. They make a lot of noise and again I believe this is something that could be easily fixed if the units are looked into more often. Other than that, this hotel is just amazing. It has close proximity to grocery stores and restaurants and it’s located right off of the main highways. You really can’t pick a better place to stay and I will definitely recommend this hotel to my family and friends. Thanks for your time for reading my review.

Our go to hotel when visiting family in New York. Most visits in the last two years one elevator was out of order, however, our last visit in December 2025 both elevators were working. The staff goes out of the way to help and are friendly. Better than average breakfast and Hilton members get credits toward breakfast and snacks. There is plenty of parking and spaces for handicapped parking. The toilets are very low even in accessible roomw and I suggested that management should have seat inserts available for disabled and elderly guests. The fire pits are great to hang around during chilly spring, summer and fall evenings.

Horrendous to stay here. They have 2 elevators in total and one has been dysfunctional for a year. The only functioning one apparently goes on and off intermittently. It is out again today meaning you have to carry your luggage down four staircases if you stay on the fourth floor. No one seems to know how to get this rectified other than “resetting it“. Corporate office needs to step in and actually fix the problem. You need functioning elevators in a hotel if you expect guests to be here. This was for a wedding so hotel was packed and when the only one elevator was working intermittently, you had to wait a long amount of time just to get on it. Not good, do NOT stay here until elevators are repaired.

Stayed at this Hilton location to see a show at the Paramount in Huntington… The place was very nice, it’s in its own area away from the road and busy streets, offers free parking and a restaurant on site which we went to and found the food was pretty good. Service was excellent and we had no complaints about the room.

This is the second time my husband and I have stayed here and we LOVE this place! The staff is exceptional and because we had to leave super early, we forgot to leave a tip for the housekeeping staff. We want to shout out to them because they are excellent, making the room so inviting and comfortable! Thank you for your excellent hospitality!
