This was our first time staying here. I am picky, but I was pleasantly impressed. The room was very clean, including the bathroom. Even the bath towels were better than some of the comparable hotels. Miyooki at the front desk was professional yet friendly. She always greeted us with a smile whenever we managed to be present during her shift. Little did she know that we were in town for a funeral and Miyooki’s warm and pleasant demeanor meant so much. If there was one thing that could be improved upon, it was the breakfast. I love a pot of hot steel oats. However, it was only available in the instant oatmeal packets. The sweet warm cinnamon rolls were a hit with our family though. We would certainly stay here again and think other front desk staff members should shadow Miyooki and observe how well she interacts with guests. I have a career in customer service spanning decades and industries, so I always take the time to complete surveys and compliment those who know what it means to deliver great service. Miyooki is a keeper!

I stayed at this Holiday Inn and was impressed by how clean and new the hotel was. The property itself is well maintained, and I really liked the overall look and feel. Unfortunately, the service didn’t match the quality of the hotel. It was difficult to get my room cleaned during my stay. I had to call and request housekeeping almost every time, which became frustrating and inconvenient. It would have been much better if the room had been serviced without having to ask. On the morning I checked out, I learned that there had been multiple car break-ins overnight. There were four police cars outside the hotel when I left. Thankfully, my rental car was not one of the vehicles that was broken into, but it was unsettling to see. Overall, the hotel itself is very nice and modern, but the housekeeping service and the security concerns took away from what could have been a much better stay.

Bathroom had decent amount of space and Roll in shower with bench as requested, however room itself was very very tight fit and difficult for my husband to move around in his wheelchair. Location was good and staff was pleasant and helpful but I would not recommend this hotel for anyone in a wheelchair.

We stayed 1 night during Memorial day weekend. It was busy but not so crowded that we didn't enjoy our stay. Front desk service was AMAZING-Jess and Gina are the GOAT of the hotel industry. The kids got to swim. The pool was well taken care of and clean- no harsh chlorine smell which is good. The room was large enough for our family to all get together and play games, catch up and enjoy family time. Breakfast was great- pancakes, waffles, bagels, breads, fruit, yogurt, cereal, eggs, sausage, biscuits and gravy, milk, juice, oatmeal etc. It's our first time in NY and so far we're impressed.

I recently had an amazing stay at this hotel! The rooms were spotless, comfortable, and beautifully maintained. The staff was welcoming from the moment I arrived, and the overall atmosphere made the trip even more enjoyable. A special thank you to Gina for her awesome help during my stay. She went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect and was always friendly, professional, and attentive. Her kindness and dedication truly stood out and made a lasting impression. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for excellent service and a relaxing experience. I’ll definitely be back!

As a frequent traveler for work, I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Holiday Inn Express in Hauppauge and I am truly grateful that I did. From the moment my coworker and I arrived, we were warmly welcomed by a wonderful woman at the front desk named Gina, who went above and beyond to ensure we had an exceptional experience. The hotel itself was absolutely flawless…it’s clean, comfortable, and equipped with useful amenities that made our stay even more enjoyable. Thank you to the entire team at this hotel for your outstanding hospitality and dedication. Keep up the amazing work! Can’t wait to see you all again soon!

I do not usually leave reviews but I feel this I warranted to travelers that may have different expectations. I am a frequent traveler for work and love staying at Holiday Inn Express hotels. My issue comes from the way they prior authorize your card. I was charged the day prior for my room which standard for most locations. Upon my arrival I was informed that there was a $150 incidental hold which again very standard, what I was NOT expecting was to see a charge for $355 on my card (room fee plus incidentals) on top of the room fee that was already charged the day prior. When I inquired about this I was informed that they charge the room fee the day before in case you don’t show up and then they charge you again when you arrive it’s “just how we do things” and was told that the extra fee plus incidentals will be returned appropriately 48 hours after your check out. As a person who carefully budgets for a full week of hotel stays this is not common practice. Be prepared to double pay for your stay if you choose to stay at this location. I will say that the room was clean and front desk staff was friendly but should have onboarded me prior to charging me an extra $205.

Giving service here 5 stars because Gina at front desk was so helpful and friendly! I needed change and she took time out to count out $20 in change for me so I could tip some of the kitchen workers there (breakfast is good). Gestures like this are important to me because front desk is the first line of representation for your stay anywhere, and she was so pleasant with a positive attitude. Will definitely stay here again if they continue to have helpful front desk members like Gina.

Rooms definitely need an upgrade. Carpeting is old. At least it's very good for using and charging electronics. Outlets and USB ports available at work desk and at bedside. Location right off the highway with plenty of food and conveniences around.

We had a very poor experience at this property. There was loud banging and active work being done on the hotel during our stay. To make matters worse, the room we paid for was not the room we were given. We booked and paid for two queen beds, but were placed in a room with one king bed instead. The room itself was dirty, and we discovered bed bugs, which made the situation unacceptable. Due to the noise, cleanliness issues, and bed bug discovery, we checked out early. When we requested a credit, the hotel lied to Hotels.com, contradicting what they had previously confirmed to us by phone, and is now refusing to issue any refund or accommodation. This was an extremely disappointing experience. I would avoid this property at all costs. There are many other hotels in the area that I have stayed at which are significantly better and actually deliver what they promise.
