I have stayed at this hotel several times when traveling for work. The manager is doing a great job here. The rooms are clean and the staff is very friendly, efficient and accommodating. I hope corporate is making note of the dynamic of this staff.
This place is perfect. The hotel itself is spotless and the rooms are wonderful. I stay here for business and pleasure quite often, and I am never disappointed. I am an IHG Member and to my surprise my visit last night was greeted with a free upgraded room from standard to a king size suite which was amazing, and a little care package complete with bottles of water and snacks. The room was amazingly super clean and like my own little apartment. Love the Sonoma Grill for some drinks and great food attached to the hotel. The staff is super friendly and will continue to patronize this lovely place repeatedly.
We were visiting family and this was a perfect location. Appeared to be recently upgraded. Big plus, the heater/air conditioner was whisper quiet! The staff performed above expectations. Multiple holiday denominations displayed in the lobby. Plenty of parking. Free breakfast is not available, but there is a restaurant attached. We were happy with our stay.
This property is a hidden gem nestled pretty much in the center of Long Island accessible to everything at you fingertips… we were greeted courteously by the front desk concierge who promptly place us in a room on the third per our request … the room was cozy and super clean… we felt high at home away from home. The restaurant adjacent to the hotel the “Sonoma Grill was such a convenient add on to our expertise. Food was excellent; portion was large and the service was also exceptional. I highly recommend this local for any eager traveler!
First I just want to address that J.R. at the desk needs a raise. He was extremely patient and professional. I say this because the lobby had about 5 Noticably iMpATieNt people waiting behind us… but mine and my boyfriend’s check in was tedious, under our circumstances. It wasn’t anyone’s fault. We originally had a prior reservation under a hotel block for a wedding at the Hyatt Regency Hotel. Unfortunately, they had flood damage in 10 rooms that day.. and even though it was 11pm, they didn’t think to call us. They decided to wait until we got there to let us know, and sent us to the Holiday Inn. They had covered the cost but the process to get the room from another hotel, to another hotel, was annoying, for us. They offered us 1 night at the Holiday Inn and 1 night back at their hotel (the Regency) so we did it because we already drove there. I’m grateful that they did because the Holiday Inn was spectacular. Honestly. The Hyatt Regency was unfathomably a nightmare. Anyway… this hotel was clean and accommodating, and probably the first hotel I’ve ever stayed in that supplied a microwave in the room? To everyone checking in, be patient with the staff please……. It’s not their fault that some of the people checking-in are just inconvenienced customers from the Hyatt ?

Updated at the bottom. Rooms are as you would expect for 3 star hotels. They are clean, well kept, and most do stock a fridge plus microwave. Service is exceptional here and I did want to make a special point of it. Staff is extremely nice And helpful plus they will go out of their way to help with the smallest things if they are able. Attached restaurant was ok food which is also convenient. Nothing special to look at in the surrounding area or even through windows aesthetically speaking but that's not really the hotels fault I suppose. Decently priced but usually does have slightly cheaper options via 3rd party when it comes to pricing. Plus it does have laundry facilities if needed. No breakfast options but the restaurant does. Update: Unfortunately I am lowering the rating from 5/5 to 3/5. The service from 2nd shift and 3rd shift is excellent however I cannot say the same for first shift. I did extend my stay here for a total of 7 days and I was going to do another day but I would rather stay somewhere else now. Badgering. Disrespectful. You shouldn't start your sentence with " I'm not trying to be mean but" and then telling me to extend by 11am or they won't do it. Then after walking away telling her colleague something similar saying if he doesn't do it by 11am tomorrow to not process it. They ended up towing the whole customer service thing out of the window with this interaction. Called my room like five times yesterday in less than an hour in the morning about exchanging keys when I said I would be there in like 30 minutes in the morning. They need to do better. Talking badly about your customers when they can still hear you probably not the best way to go in keeping them as your customers, just a thought.
A really nice hotel, just was said I was only there for 1 night. Nice room, good location for my work. Coming back to see how it is for a longer stay. Update: I came back for a longer stay. Same room, really nice, good hotel staff and very helpful. Just wish the tv's had better channel selections or would allow Chromecast or similar selections. The attached restaurant will be covered under a seperate review since they are run independently.
Very clean,quiet except for the fire alarm going off at 10pm. It was quickly resolved. Very comfortable from the bed to the shower. Really enjoyed my stay. Also they have Sonoma grill connected which is pretty cool.
I would say this is a perfectly Service friendly hotel. The food chain that is connected to the hotel is fantastic as well great food highly recommend. The staff were over the top amazing. In very friendly. Rooms were very well kept and clean. Nice area I will definitely come back when I’m in town again.
