We stayed here for a soccer tournament and it was lovely (one of the best Homewood Suites I’ve ever stayed in). Unfortunately, we had to cancel our second night because of weather and to my surprise, the hotel refunded our entire group! This is the epitome of excellent customer service. We also liked the helpful front desk staff, the spotlessly clean rooms, the well stocked and clean breakfast and the overall helpfulness and kindness of every staff we encountered. Well done. As someone who travels often, this is a gem of a place. Keep up the good work!

I am local. Loving for a staycation local to where I live found this Hilton where I could use my points and have a wonderful night out with my husband with a hot tub and pool.. Reading several reviews found out that If you stay on a Wednesday, there’s a complementary buffet dinner included with your stay We had chicken mashed potatoes and corn with salad and soup, cookies, ice cream and all you can have beer and wine. It was fantastic. It doesn’t compare to Olive Garden but if you’re looking for something quick simple and enjoyable that is free or you don’t have to leave this is fantastic again it’s not a Michelin star review but if you’re looking for something fast, quick simple, easy and free it checks off all the boxes. My husband and I were happy to come and drink their beer. Drink their wine sit in the hot tub, eat their food and take ice cream to go back to the room which I have to say the room was absolutely gorgeous clean refrigerator or dishwasher pots pans stove, top separate bedroom king size bed, ample towels, definitely someplace you’d wanna come for a local staycation dog, friendly outdoor barbecue outdoor fire pit very enjoyable. I give it two thumbs up for what my husband and I were looking

Mark at the front desk was very personable, he gave great recommendations, and the staff overall was great. The suites are very spacious, the kitchenette was actually more than sufficient, 2 bathrooms, living room. Truth be told the booking was solidified knowing they had a hot tub (being that it’s currently 5° out). The included breakfast was pretty solid (and I’ve been to many hotels where it was just alright), waffle making station, oatmeal station, cereals, baked goods and bagels, egg/ burrito station). Overall a great experience. Will definitely be returning.

My husband and I are here for an extended stay. The staff at the customer service desk is excellent and extremely helpful, friendly and professional. The kitchen staff is just as friendly and warm. They prepare an excellent choice of hot and cold foods for breakfast. They also host a weekly Wednesday evening free social dinner. This is the first hotel I’ve been to that dos such events regularly. I can’t say enough about how great the front desk customer service and kitchen staff are. They are really nice people, all of them. Great atmosphere ?! Highly recommend to anyone!

?????????? We had a wonderful stay at Homewood Suites this past weekend, and the hospitality truly stood out. From the moment we arrived, Mark made us feel genuinely welcome. He went out of his way to help with even the littlest details and took the time to recommend some amazing Italian food nearby—which turned out to be a highlight of our trip. When Mark wasn’t there, Shivone seamlessly continued that same level of hospitality. She was warm, attentive, and made sure everything was taken care of without us ever having to ask twice. It’s rare to experience service that feels this personal and sincere. Mark and Shivone are exactly the kind of people who make you want to come back. Thank you for such a great stay—we’ll definitely be returning!

I just want to say that this was my first experience here and man was it an experience! The rooms... have you seen these rooms? HUGE!! Much bigger than Marriott or Holiday Inn and so comfortable too! The bed I'm sleeping on right now has me dozing off as I type this! Did I forget to mention the amazing breakfast and FREE dinner and beer on Wednesday nights? Like are you kidding me? Why would you stay anywhere else? I would also like to throw out that they have a great little workout area which is right across from the Indoor pool and hot tub. You wouldn't believe the hunnies I've seen in there! 10 out of 10, I'll be back every time! Before I leave you wondering about the parking here... its great too. Easily park and get right in a door and to your room. Easy peasy! All in all, Im enjoying this place and you will too, trust me!

I have had two extended stays at homewood suites in town for business. The staff is exceptionally kind and courteous and responsive to any concerns or needs I have had. I’ve stayed in king studio and king one bedroom; both were clean and tidy. The free breakfast is great, and there is a Wednesday night meal and social hour that is great for unwinding without having to go out. It is time for a refresher of paint, flooring, and walls so if you are looking for pristine this might not live up to your expectations, But if you are looking for good service and a warm inviting place, homewood suites Melville will make you feel loved. The gym got a redo while I was there and they cleaned carpets too. They may not be on par with current design standards but they do maintain the property. Flower beds are lovely.

I’m here for 2 weeks on a work trip and it’s been a wonderful experience. Denise and Shivone have been such a delight. Always upbeat, kind and very professional. Everyday I have questions and new needs and they have been eager to help everytime. The hotel is quiet and the breakfast is really good. The ladies in the kitchen are also very helpful and sweet. I recommend this hotel and would stay here anytime I’m in the area.

As a Diamond member, I have stayed in multiple Hilton properties over the years, and found this stay an unusually enjoyable experience. We have been very well cared for during our time here, and have enjoyed an attractive, clean, and comfortable room. Mark at the front desk was most helpful from our first encounter, as well as each of the other staff we have met. The breakfast was delicious and varied. Stay elsewhere. I am not one to write reviews but this place had me so grossed out I felt it was necessary to write a review. I am honestly shocked to see there are even any good reviews on this hotel. I stayed here with my family including 3 young children in the 2 bed 2 bath suite. Considering the price for just two nights and that it is a Hilton, I had at expectations that it would at least be decent and clean. The entire (nonsmoking) suite smelt like cigarettes. Every single surface of the room- furniture, walls, shower, floors, kitchen cabinets, etc had some type of discoloration, dirt or mold. The bathtub didn’t plug to give my kids a bath but when you shower without the drain plugged, water pools up so you’re soaking your toes in your own bathing water. There is a sign in the room stating the need to call to request housekeeping service, they won’t just come automatically. We called not once but three times and no one showed up. It took two trips to the front desk to require a basic cleanup and fresh towels. Every single interaction with staff they were rude, condescending and didn’t even attempt to have good customer service skills. It became comical. Prior to the housekeeping issue, I had called ahead inquiring how an early check in request worked and the woman could not have been more abrasive when she told me to call back at 3pm (which is CHECK IN TIME ANYWAY) and she clearly pretended to put in a “request” while she huffed and puffed. Just tell me we can’t check in early- why be so mean? Also, the pool room is hot and humid but the water is cold. There is a discolored foam lining the tiles that are not submerged in water. My kids were so excited to go swimming but I cut our swim time short because of how nasty I felt. Unfortunately didn’t even feel any better after taking a shower. This hotel is located in an upscale, wealthy area. I never have high expectations but I did have a standard cleanliness and personnel standard. We don’t travel a lot but when we do I’d tend to trust a Hilton, especially when we had to spend a lot of money to accommodate our small children. Makes me question ever staying at a Hilton again.
