Filthy room. Used bar of soap to wash your hands. Some green liquid in frig. Dirty table. Sink filthy Yuk! Nice front desk people but house keeping needs to held accountable. Dirty hall carpets. Old bathrooms. Needs an upgrade.

On January 11th 2026 I booked this hotel to visit my boyfriend before I left back to college. He’s 22 and a listed and offered to check in and pay since I’m 20. The lady at the front who was the e supposed manager was very standoffish from the start because two young men wanted to check in. Immediately saying she cannot have someone under 21 in the room company policy yet my boyfriend who was 22 was checking us in. She then tried questioning his bank when jovia is a very popular bank especially in the area. Then tried asking what we were doing in the hotel and when my boyfriend responds with “chilling and hanging out before my partner goes back to college” she replies with “yeah I know what you people do”… immediately something should’ve rang in my head but she just said since i wasn’t above 21 we couldn’t check in when that doesn’t make sense when people with children walked right in so clearly this isn’t a 21+ only hotel. She ended our conversation with I texted the other manager and it’s policy and I quote “I don’t feel comfortable moving forward with this check in”. I asked to speak to a manager and she said “I’m manager on duty and have worked here for 20 years” beyond disgusted with open homophobia in 2026. Please Hilton do better.

Stayed in a king bed suite to spend our baby’s first Christmas with family. My baby is newly mobile so we were deeply upset to find used condoms by the bed. Thrilled people are practicing safe sex but this is a biohazard. Gross!

We just completed a 2 week stay at Homewood Suites Ronkonkoma (Station Yards) due to home renovations. (This was a very local hotel allowing us to go back-and-forth to our home for our contractors.) Upon walking into the hotel to check in, we were greeted by Chris. We explained that we were concerned about noise because we are not used to sharing walls for an extended period of time. He ensured that we would have a comfortable suite. We booked the top floor 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom corner suite equipped with a living room and full size kitchen. This suite was VERY large, had 3 TV’s (which was a comfortable perk for 3 of us) and was VERY private in its own section of the floor. Most importantly, it was VERY clean. Front desk staff was the most friendly we have ever encountered in any hotel. Chris and Riley always greeted us with smiles upon entering or leaving the hotel, which I personally did about 5-6 times per day. I always felt safe alone, which was very important when booking this stay. Housekeeping was wonderful in that our suite was kept very clean and well stocked with every amenity from home. Breakfast was served daily, and consisted of different hot foods, cereals, fruits, coffee, etc. they even served almond milk, which was a huge plus for me! On Wednesday nights the hotel hosted a managers reception, serving salad, hordourves, mini desserts, drinks, etc. During this time we met other guests who were also locals, some having the exact same home renovations we were doing, and we all showed pictures and compared notes. VERY “home-like” atmosphere. With an extended stay you run into the same people many times during the day. While sitting with my daughter waiting for her bus every morning, the guests we had met would stop and talk to us. Homewood Suites lives up to its name and is very “homey”. I would like to personally thank Riley and Chris for making this extended stay experience a wonderful “staycation” while our home was being completed. I will honestly miss their smiley faces every day and chatting with both of them. We would not hesitate to stay here again and we highly recommend this hotel to anyone needing a beautiful place to stay locally during home renovations or a vacation.

Super clean and amazing friendly staff. My go to for staying on long Island. It has a 24/7 access gym so that's always super convenient for me. The front desk is constantly busy so give the employees all the time they need and they will get to you. 100/10

When a six-foot tall person stands up from the green chair you saw at the pic. You hit your head directly on the lamp and suffer a neck injury.Your neck hurts when you turn it left and right or up and down because you injured your neck Therefore, anyone who wants to stay in this hotel must have either a physical therapist or a chiropractor.I wonder which naive engineer correctly mounted this long lamp on this table? The small sliced potatoes at breakfast tasted disgusting, like they were boiled in water instead of fried. Also, the bacon was not crispy, it was like it was boiled in water and put there. While all the other Hilton hotels we stayed at generally offer 24-hour hot coffee service, unfortunately this is not available here.As we have not seen in any other Hilton, if you come here with your car and there are two people, they charge each person a separate daily parking fee.

I stayed at this hotel for a week in Mid-October. The staff was wonderful and very accommodating. The rooms were very comfortable and clean. The breakfast buffet had plenty of options. I really appreciate the John helping us out when we arrived. I would definitely use this hotel again.

Stayed here for work for 4 weeks. Had a great experience here. My cat also liked the room. The employees were nice and accommodating. Hoping to stay here again if I come back to the area.

First time staying here. We travelled 1.5hrs to get here and loved the vibes in this town. Location was about 10mins walk from the train station - morning views are the best. Great location, room & amenities and guest-orientated customer service as well. Thank you team!

My parents recently moved to the south shore. This was our first visit to them. My family checked in around 9pm. When we got into our room we noticed that the room was made, however, it was NOT clean. There were hairs on the bed, sheets and pillow. When we went into the bathroom there was an open bar of soap (used) on the edge of the sink sitting in water, garbage in the can and hairs on the sink. Additionally, the room had a faint odor of marijuana. I went down to the front desk where the changed our room. When we got into the second room, there was a horrible wet dog smell. Additionally, there were hairs on the bed and sheets (luckily not on the pillows this time). There were stains on the floor from what looked like spilled coffee or soda. In the bathroom there were more stains and dirt around the bottom of the toilet...Clearly not cleaned. We also found a charger left on the desk. I really question the integrity of the cleaning in this hotel. For a Hilton and almost $300 a night I expected a little more. The next morning when I went to check out I told Kevin at the front desk about everything mentioned above. He said that there was nothing they can do to compensate or reimburse me. I mentioned that I was a Hilton honors member and he said that they could give me points...Its now 2 days later and I still haven't received points. The worst part of it all was that I told two employees at the front desk about what happened and I never received an apology once... Very unprofessional. I'm going to be visiting the area more often now that my parents live nearby and I will 100% be considering staying elsewhere, even if it means paying a little extra. I would recommend anyone staying in the area to do the same.
