Hotel Indigo East End consistently receives positive feedback, particularly praising the cleanliness, comfortable rooms, and attentive staff. However, recent reviews highlight significant issues with inconsistent service, discriminatory behavior, and a lack of staff training, creating a stark contrast in guest experiences. The overall atmosphere is appealing, but marred by notable problems.
I travel from Canada every year to this hotel property. The rooms are clean and comfortable! The staff go above and beyond to make your stay welcome. Restaurant offers lots of choices and great food. Overall a great hotel choice!
Room and bed were both very comfortable, clean design. Joseph at the front desk was very helpful - I asked him for a favor and he was so happy to help. Breakfast was fantastic and exceeded expectations by far.
We had an amazing stay at Hotel Indigo and couldn’t be happier with the experience. From the moment we arrived, everything was beautifully handled and exceeded our expectations. The hotel itself was comfortable, welcoming, and impeccably run, but what truly made our stay exceptional was Lyndsay. She went above and beyond in every way , attentive, professional, and genuinely caring. Her attention to detail and commitment to making sure everything was perfect made all the difference. Thanks to her and the entire team, our stay was seamless and memorable. We can’t wait to return and highly recommend Hotel Indigo.
We love this place. All the staff are friendly and come with a smile and a 'let me help you attitude' Shout out the the front desk, the room cleaning service and of course the restaurant/ bar. We love this place. See you in 2026.
Brides beware!!!!!!! Don’t be fooled by the renovated rooms or the great location. The service is terrible and everything that goes wrong is blamed on the guest. The answer to every question is “I didn’t know” or “no one told me”. You are in the service industry. You are here to anticipate the needs of your guests. If you don’t have the information needed to take care of your guests you need to be able to use your brain to figure out what needs to be done. This is a clear lack of leadership and a complete lack of training of both tasks and customer experience. None of the details get passed on to anyone that is on the front line. If you book an after party and items are dropped off before that after party, it is assumed by the party host that those items will be put out with your party, not that you will have to go to the front desk after your party has started to find out where all your stuff is and why there’s an incorrect sign posted with the wrong name. How embarrassing. After spending over $2000 on the party I expected things to go smoothly. I was mistaken. I’m sure there are so many other hotels in the area which can provide a much less stressful overnight stay and party. There were two shining stars through the stay, though. Bar Supervisor Jennifer and Front Desk Associate Lindsay were both outstanding. Promote these women and let them retrain the rest of your staff!!!! They are the only ones with exquisite customer service and the ability to do their job with kindness, grace, and skill.
Stayed for a wedding and it was very nice and clean. Pleasantly surprised. Loved the hotel itself. Staff was ok. It was clean and had a lot of great features. Would stay again.
Had a positive experience with Hotel Indigo for our wedding hotel block! We worked with Samantha who made sure all our guests were added to the block and all other details, like the shuttle schedule, were readily available morning of. Distance wise it’s a great location to sleep for the night and to then see all the fun activities in the area. Thanks again!
Was staying here for work and stayed in multiple rooms. Very luxurious hotel and rooms. They tidied and cleaned the rooms well. Customer service was pretty good. Complimentary breakfast was delicious. For the weeks I was there it was the same options every morning I wish there would have been a little more variety but it was super good. Ordered dinner quite a few times during that duration of the stay and that food was pretty mediocre. There was maybe 1 or 2 meals out of 9 I was really happy with, but the customer service from the staff there was always fantastic.
As a Black woman from NYC, I came to Long Island for a peaceful weekend and instead experienced blatant racism and disrespect at this hotel. I reported a cockroach in my room and was treated like a liar by the older woman at the front desk—condescending and dismissive with no attempt to help. At the bar, the bartender Jenny ignored me and served several white guests who arrived after me. Her attitude was disgusting. To top it off, while enjoying the DJ by the pool, my group (all POC) was singled out and asked for our room number. No one else was questioned—just us. The only positive was Josh at the front desk, who actually listened and apologized. He deserves better than working in a place like this. Stay far far FAR away if you want good service!
Hotel Indigo was the perfect place for us to stay during our wedding weekend. The staff was warm and welcoming, and the atmosphere had just the right mix of comfort and style. My now wife and I had such a nice time — it was the perfect spot to relax and soak in the excitement leading up to our big day. Great memories made here!
