Our experience working with the Hyatt regency Long Island on our room block for our upcoming March wedding was a positive one. The process was straightforward, and the team was helpful and easy to communicate with. We had the chance to speak with the General Manager, Director of sales, and the assistant director of sales, and each of them was professional, responsive, and accommodating. They answered our questions promptly and made sure the details were handled efficiently, which we really appreciated during the planning process. Overall, we are grateful for their knowledge, support and assistance. We are very much looking forward to our wedding weekend!
We booked the hotel block for our wedding along with the Sunday morning brunch at the Hyatt. Throughout the planning process, Brielle and her team were an absolute pleasure to deal with and helped us properly sort every guest room into the block. The staff ensured that all of the guests received their welcome bags, the hotel and rooms were clean, and the food and drinks were exactly what we needed. We would recommend the Hyatt to other wedding parties and I look forward to playing golf again at Windwatch next door.
I recently stayed at this hotel for a soccer tournament. While there were some bright spots, I'm giving this hotel 2 stars primarily due to a glaring issue that management has chosen not to address: the elevators. During my stay, the main elevators were so slow that the hotel posted signs directing guests to use the service elevator instead. At first, I assumed this was a temporary inconvenience. However, multiple staff members confirmed this has been an ongoing problem—for years. This is unacceptable. Management is knowingly subjecting both guests and their own employees to daily frustration over something as fundamental as vertical transportation. For a Hyatt Regency—a brand that should uphold certain standards—this level of negligence is truly disappointing. Functional elevators aren't a luxury amenity; they're basic infrastructure. On a positive note, the gym and pool were decent, and I was pleasantly surprised by the wine program—they serve Caymus by the glass, which you don't often see. I also want to specifically thank Kevin and Kayleigh in the breakfast room, who provided exceptional hospitality and took wonderful care of all the guests.
I had an incredible stay at Hyatt Regency hotel. The lobby is welcoming and spacious. Check in and out is quick and smooth. The rooms are clean and beds are super comfortable! The location of the hotel is in a quiet area and everything is about 13-20 min. Great spot! My favorite part was the breakfast! Everything was delicious ?! They offer so many options like quiche, waffles, bacon, sausage, oatmeal, fresh fruit, and more. Oh and don’t forget about the tea and coffee bar at the entrance. There is literally something for everyone. I specifically want to give a shout out to the INCREDIBLE dining room staff! Eddie and Kevin were AMAZING!!!! They are so attentive, welcoming, and made me feel at home. Thank you Eddie for being so kind. I appreciated how you remembered my orange/cranberry juice combo hahah. You guys are amazing and I was so happy to have chatted with you!!! You guys deserve 100000 starts ??! Also, big thanks to Kalie, Lilly, and Reina! Thank you thank you thank you. Best team ever! ? Thank you Hyatt Regency hotel! You have an incredible staff ?. Eddie and Kevin made my experience unforgettable. I would come back because of them specially. They deserve a raise and more. The hotel itself is very nice. Location is good. The rooms may be a bit older, but they are sufficient and comfortable. The breakfast service was absolutely wonderful. The staff were incredibly kind, welcoming, and attentive, which made me feel truly at home from the very first moment. Their warm attitude combined with a high level of professionalism created a relaxed and pleasant atmosphere every morning. I genuinely looked forward to breakfast every single day, not only because of the food, but mainly because of the people, specialy Kevin and Kalie (thank you guys!!!). It was clear that they truly cared about the guests and their comfort. Thank you for such a lovely and memorable start to each day, Kevin and Kalie ?? You are the reason I will definitely come back! My stay at Hyatt regency was excellent. Everything was 10/10 The food, ambience & customer service were on point. Big shout out to our waiter Kevin as he did a great job. We first had him on the dinner portion and because of his excellent service we had to request him for breakfast the next day.
my stay here has been great. I really had a great experience when I went down to get breakfast and I was greeted by a young lady named Eddie and she was completely amazing. Everything about her just gave positive energy. Her smile was amazing and she has great representation of what hotel staff/ servers should be like protect eddie at all costs
We stay here every year during the holidays and never have any problems. The staff is very nice and the rooms are always clean and spacious. This morning we had the buffet breakfast in the hotel and Eddie was a wonderful server. She has a warm and welcoming personality and we really enjoyed meeting and talking with her. 5 stars to Eddie
Check-in was easy and my room was ready early. The market was convenient during my stay. Shout out to Elsa, my room attendant. She was amazing. Every time I passed her in the hallway, she greeted me and asked if I needed anything, even though I declined housekeeping services. Her friendliness and attentiveness truly stood out. I would also like to thank Elizabeth at the front desk. She assisted me during check-in and was always available to answer my questions throughout my stay. When I returned to the hotel due to a cancelled flight, she was there again when I departed for the final time and was just as helpful and professional Elsa and Elizabeth both provided excellent service and made my stay a great experience.
This is a truly beautiful hotel the design, atmosphere, and overall vibe make it a wonderful place to stay. That said, there was an issue with the elevator, which was a bit inconvenient during our stay. Hopefully that’s something that can be improved or resolved for future guests. What really made our experience exceptional, though, was Kevin, one of the waiters. His service was outstanding warm, attentive, and genuinely thoughtful. He went above and beyond and truly made our stay so much better. Kevin is a huge asset to this hotel and absolutely deserves a raise.
