about 1 year agoJ&S Reeve Cottages are fantastic! We rented the three waterfront cottages for several families and had plenty of space. The property is gorgeous and it is incredibly peaceful on the water. The kids loved playing on the grass and running around. Sandy was lovely and accommodated all of our individual needs. We loved it and will be back!

almost 2 years agoSeemed like it would have been delightful. Booked (with confirmation), gathered our toddler and dog in the car and drove out there from Brooklyn only to learn that they gave our spot away to someone who walked-in w/out a reservation! They issued the cancellation a minute before coming out to talk to us. We were stranded and had to scramble to find a place to stay. I will say it seemed lovely, but I would call and confirm that you in fact *have* the spot you reserved.

about 2 years agoGreat place to stay!! A hidden gem. If you are looking for a quiet, relaxing retreat, this is it. Our cottage was well equipped, spacious and clean. The screened in porch is the clincher! We enjoyed a beautiful waterfront view while having morning coffee and a glass of wine later in the evening. No hustle, bustle. Just feet up and relax!

about 9 years agoA most charming property of cottages in a quiet cove.. Beautifully landscaped.. Tucked away off the beaten track.. The North Fork of Long Island had a great vibe with all the vineyards and coves to kayak and canoe... A great alternative to the crazy traffic and hustle bustle and ridiculous attitude of the South Fork.. The ocean on South Fork is still spectacular but it's a easy ride to go and come back...

about 10 years agoThank you again Sandy and John for a wonderful time over Memorial weekend. We have been coming here for many years and realized last night, during dinner with friends, that we have never written a review. You and John have always been such wonderful hosts and very pet friendly!! We love the setting on the creek, the great views and the fishing. Your cottages are charming and the grounds perfect for the kids to run around. We have yet to take up the offer to use your kayaks, but intend to do that next month when our dinner guests join us. Looking forward to next time - Kathryn
