This was our second time staying at Temperance Hall on a summer holiday weekend. It was just as enjoyable as last time and the innkeepers were very welcoming. It’s located a block or two from the main intersection in Bellport, NY, yet was quite serene. We felt right at home in our spacious suite, which opens onto an outdoor patio. The pool was a refreshing place to spend a July afternoon. We’re so pleased to have found Temperance Hall that we’re booking a three-peat for next year.

We stayed at Temperance Hall for five nights and had a wonderful time. The room was spacious and very accommodating with lots of personalized touches including candles and a little fridge.The patio outside our room was like having a suite with a lounge as part of the room. We swam in the pool every day and thoroughly enjoyed the relaxing atmosphere of the grounds. Everyone was very friendly and hospitable to us. We used the bicycles to ride to the village and down to the beach. Bellport is a great little town and Temperance Hall is a super place to stay.

We thoroughly enjoyed our experience staying at Temperance Hall for a summer holiday weekend. It’s a well-run property with extremely hospitable innkeepers. The location in Bellport is ideal and the grounds, including the pool area and outdoor patio, are quite scenic. It’s a historic building with all the modern amenities. Our suite was well-designed, comfortable and spacious, and the nearby sun room was another appealing feature. We liked it so much we’re ready to book another reservation.

We chose to stay at Temperance Hall for our wedding weekend, where Alison, Rob, and Joanne welcomed us like family. The Temperance Hall crew accommodated our hair and make up team so we were all ready on time, the two-bedroom suite was beautifully decorated, and it was so relaxing to stay by the pool. The Loft, the two-bedroom suite, is spacious and emulates the laid-back yet tasteful Bellport style. There is a full kitchen, equipped with everything you would need to make a coffee in the morning to have a BBQ in the evening on the large deck space with a grill. The living room is filled with interesting books and there are two bathrooms equipped with soaps, lotions, and toiletries. You will feel right at home. The Inn, in general, is in the perfect location in Bellport, steps away from main street with the plethora of coffee shops and beachy shops, we couldn't even tell you our favorite as they're all worth stopping in. We, not only would recommend staying at the Temperance Hall Inn, we are already planning our next stay here !

Stayed here the night before and night after my wedding this month. We rented out the whole property and it was amazing! Rooms were beautiful, full kitchen, natural light for hair and makeup team, etc. Beds were super comfortable and the landscape was perfect for our pictures. I can’t wait to see how they come out! Alison was personable and so nice! If we had an issue we texted her and she was on it immediately.

I cannot recommend Temperance Hall Inn highly enough! My husband and I got married around the corner (literally) and had our reception down the street at the Country Club. My bridal party stayed at Temperance Hall the night before and the entire party stayed the night of the wedding. It was a perfect location because we were staying so local and it's a beautiful place for pictures. Between being in the town and having such cozy and chic rooms to stay, I loved our stay so much and cannot wait to go back! In addition, to top it all off, Alison was in contact with us the entire time and was able to help so so much! Everyone and everything was perfect!
