over all, LOVED my stay! me and my family booked last min. rooms and were able to check in smoothly and got beautiful rooms, clean, updated and beautiful ocean view. The only thing i would say, is rates are cheaper if booked somewhat in advanced, for some reason the rates we saw online were not the same then what was given. but again we did book last min so that's probably why lol definitely cannot wait to book again (in advance lol)

This is the absolute best spot for your money. Every single room has a beachfront view and while it's not the most up-to-date, it is cleaned, well kept, and you have plenty of space, including a kitchenette, a deck, outdoor space. There's a pool and the best part is you can do bonfires on the beach and you are literally right next to gurnee's but you are not paying gurney prices. Just make sure you book in advance. The rooms open up February of that year and you definitely got to jump on it.

We love the Wavecrest Inn so much we’ve made it an annual tradition to spend a week there every year. I love seeing fisherman and surfers all day. Whales and dolphins were in clear view of our deck last September. This year we experienced the drama of a nor’easter, watching it from the room. We spent the week communing with the ocean, hiking and eating great seafood.

Love the wavecrest! I have stayed here a number of times and the rooms are always clean and the staff is always friendly. The location cannot be beat, within walking distance to the beach and everything you need is there (chairs and umbrellas set up by staff). Highly recommend staying here!

I stayed at Wavecrest on the Ocean in Montauk for my birthday, and it couldn’t have been a better experience. The location is absolutely unbeatable — right on the beach, with stunning ocean views just steps from my room. Waking up to the sound of the waves and watching the sunrise from the balcony made the weekend feel like a true escape. The room was clean, comfortable, and had everything I needed for a relaxing stay. The staff was friendly and accommodating, and you can tell they really care about making guests feel welcome. The property is well-kept, peaceful, and perfectly captures that classic Montauk charm — close enough to town to enjoy restaurants and shops, but quiet enough to feel private and relaxing. It was the perfect place to celebrate my birthday — peaceful, beautiful, and rejuvenating. I’ll definitely be coming back to Wavecrest on the Ocean!

First time in Montauk. Some suggestions for the owner of this resort. 1. Stayed in the overlook, and the mattress was extremely hard. Purchasing a mattress pad would be extremely helpful. 2. Carpet needs steam cleaning. Got out of the shower walked around a little bit and my feet were black underneath. 3. Bed needs a comforter. One with a Montauk logo would be super special! 4. Family room could use a blanket. Place it across the back of the couch for those that are sleeping on the couch. 5. Add a pair of scissors to the list of utensils so that people can cut their tags off of their purchases. 6. Finally slots on the balcony need to be closer together. There is no privacy when you can look through the slots. Location was great! The unit was the right size and I loved the gentleman that would bring out the chairs and the umbrellas. The beach advertised closing at 6pm. Unfortunately they always closed at 5pm. People love being out on the ocean at night. Shutting down 1 hour early was disappointing considering there were people still out there wanting to enjoy the beautiful ocean, especially for the price that we paid. We had to sit on the sand which was disappointing. Units need updating for the price. I hope this is helpful for the owner. There should also be a card in the room for the guests to review the resort.
